Summary: Rouge is out of lackeys and in a moment of hunger and boredom, ends up doing more domesticated activities.

Econtra had been lacking in good, easy-to-manipulate people. Most weren't worth the attempt and the ones she had gotten in the past never seemed to stay for long. They always vanished, leaving her to take care of whatever herself. It wasn't too difficult to deal with since she moved to Mui-Enas; Tohru tended to take care of the cooking and such. Unfortunately, having the human girl take care of that left her with even less to do than usual. Trying to cook and even picking up around the place were starting to sound better by the day in comparison to sitting down and reading the day away yet again and gaining entrance to the Alliance could wait until after things settled down a bit more.
Surprisingly, it didn’t take much for her to gather the motivation to begin the unusual tasks. Before she knew it, she had found a recipe book and on the stove was a pot of split-pea soup. That would take care of her hunger, at least, but now she had to keep herself occupied until the food finished.
A glance around the apartment yielded that it wasn’t in bad shape. Not cleaned to perfection, but far from being a dusty mess. Rouge shrugged and went on a brief search for the broom and dust pan. Once found, she set about ridding the bits of dirt and trash that had made its way to the floor. Look at me, cleaning to pass the time, she thought with a roll of her eyes. Despite the slight disgust on her face, she didn’t find the task too deplorable. She did clean up around her own apartment back home, after all, and this was far better than having idle hands.
