Characters: Faye Valentine (OU), OPEN
Where: The Plaza.
When: Midmorning, after the end of the love potion plot.
Summary: Faye comes to her senses and is VERY ANGRY. She goes outside to throw a fit vent.
Warnings: Anger. Definitely some swearing. Probably a LOT of swearing. Possibly violence.
Faye had gone to bed feeling miserable, and had spent the night tossing and turning restlessly, unable to turn her thoughts from Spike, and Rouge, and Rei, and Spike.... She had finally dozed off in the early pre-dawn hours, sinking into turbulent dreams.
Faye woke abruptly in the late morning, opening her eyes to stare blankly at the ceiling. She frowned as her memories from the previous days came back to her. "Was I dreaming...?" she murmured huskily. She frowned more deeply, then sat bolt upright in bed. "What the hell?" Somehow she had fallen head-over-heels for some teenager with cat ears and a... a... weird bat-thing. It was impossible... but she could remember it, all of it. What she had felt had been so real....
But she sure as hell didn't feel it now. What had happened to her? Think, Faye. "...I've been drugged!" she realized indignantly. Her eyes widened. "The tea!! Goddamnit!!"
Faye threw herself out of bed and began pacing furiously. "WHY do they have to MESS with me... I feel VIOLATED... sure somebody thinks it's FUNNY-!" She stopped abruptly, clenching her fists and growling. She looked around for something to throw, then stopped herself. "I need a walk and a fucking cigarette!!" she snarled. She tossed on Pepper's gray coat over the tank top and tracksuit pants that served as pajamas, shoved a few articles into her pockets and her feet into her boots, and stomped out into the sunshine.
She strode down the street, fuming. Made me act like a fool, throwing myself at those... those... and moping around all weepy because of his stupid dead ass-! She paused in the plaza, near the fountain, impatiently digging out her smokes and lighter. She tried to light a cigarette but her fingers fumbled clumsily with the lighter and she gave up after a few tries with a growl of frustration.
"SONUVABITCH!" she yelled, flinging the lighter and cigarette at one of the buildings. With a snarl she turned and kicked the fountain, then pried up a broken bit of cobblestone and chucked it at the Keepers. She watched it arc and fall back to the ground as the Entropi continued to float high above, unperturbed. "GRAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!" she shouted in annoyance, then turned her face to the sky, clenched her fists, and took a deep breath.
"GET ME OUTTA HERE!!!"
Faye stood, panting heavily, face turned towards the sky, towards space... towards freedom, and home.
