"Dunno," Ling replied from a short distance behind Alice, with a smile. "It does look good though."

How had he gotten there? Well, for one thing, he had come in through the window again. He'd had a lot of practice sneaking in behind people, too - doing so with his friends, particularly if their family name was Elric, was a fun pastime for him, and it kept him in top form.

Al jumped, clearly startled for a moment. She turned to look at Ling with a slight smile.

"It does look good. There's more than one bottle in here." She said, moving a little so that he could see as well.

And it worked once again~ Not quite as fun to witness as some of Ed's reactions, but then, Al had always been the calmer of the two.

"So there are," Ling observed, noting the rest of the supply in the fridge. "I wonder if Judai and Johan would mind if we tried it together?"

"We can always ask for some more." She said, looking at him. There appeared to be four bottles, so they could all have one.

"This is true," Ling replied, in such a tone that whether he truly was deep in thought or simply feigning it (or something in between) was up for debate. "Well then, how about we both try some?"

"Sure." Al said, looking over at Ling as she opened one of the bottles. She could still use her automail hand, it was just impossible to move the whole arm. She took a small drink and then looked over at him. "This is really good."

Ling also picked up a bottle of the mystery tea, opened it, took a sip or two, and smiled. "You're right - this is really good!" He hadn't tasted anything quite like it before; briefly, he wondered just what such a tea was made from.

Al smiled a bit at Ling as she took another drink out of the bottle. "I wonder how it's made. It's really good."

She wasn't sure exactly who made it, but they were good. She looked at the bottle as if trying to figure out what was in it and shrugged it off.

"We could ask Judai and Johan if they know," Ling replied, still smiling. "And if they don't know, we could ask around. Someone around here must know." After saying this, he took another sip. This was really good stuff.

"It wouldn't hurt to ask." She said, sitting down at the table with her bottle. "It's a lot different than any of the tea that I had back home."

"Then again, I didn't drink a lot of tea." She usually drank water or whatever else she could while traveling.

"You should drink more of it when you can," Ling suggested. "Different kinds of teas have all sorts of things in them that are good for the body, or at least, so I'm told.

"It is different from anything back home, though," he agreed.

She nodded and took another drink.

"I've heard that as well and this doesn't seem like something we can get at home, but we might be able to find the ingredients."

"We'll definitely be able to find those, once we find out what they are. Especially once I'm the Emperor." After all, while his main reasons for seeking the position were to bring honor to his clan and to make certain that certain sacrifices hadn't been made in vain, there was no denying that the office had certain perks.
