Siegfried studied a small wrapped box and tried not to look nervous. He'd been ready to give Pegasus this gift ever since Pegasus's card had gone missing, for this was the reason the card had gone missing. Taking it had been a rather simple, if unChristmaslike venture. He'd simply waited for Pegasus to sleep and then taken it.
Now, though, it was time to return the card - in a decorative frame in a box wrapped in gift paper and tied with ribbon. 'Will Pegasus be surprised?' Siegfried wondered. It really was hard to say, for often the more surprising something was, the less surprised Pegasus seemed.
There was only one way to find out.
"Pegasus, it is time to open presents!"
