Lucivar was in his normal outfit that was pants and a vest with a belted camp for his coat as a normal coat was not made for someone with wings. He was used to the cold and as such it did only colored his cheeks and nose a bit, which would have been more from the work out from before and not the cold so much.

Lucivar had just been in the park. He liked it there much more then the concrete everywhere else. He had just talked to a female. Now he saw a male who was a warrior too by the look of how he moved. And as an Eyrien warrior and decades practice under his belt he always wanted to know how he did when faced with the unknown.

However this person was just walking not practicing as the female before had been. And he looked quite upset over something. Maybe he understood this camp and the technology as little as he did. He had learned he hated this technology and the camp even more. At least they and the park so he could connect with the land like all Blood needed to do from time to time.

Lucivar decided to say hi. He needed to get to know more people then maybe it would not be so bad here and he would not want to find a way out so bad. Besides what was the worst that could happen?

Wufei managed, but only barely, to keep himself from voicing his surprise at the appearance of the winged man; he had an uneasy feeling that his earlier stubborn desire to overlook anything he could not recognize as sane and normal was coming back to bite him in the ass.

Hold back your prejudice, look beyond everything you believe to be true, and just run with it, Chang. "Hello," he said when the other approached him, though he was cautious in the greeting he gave, noting the way the other walked, the ease in his motions that gave away his training and fighting ability. A possible danger, but it was unlikely, as he sensed no threat or malice in that approach.

Lucivar wondered if this person was used to winged people or not. He was not like his brother and tell what other told by body language. He was Eyrien and there for blunt to a fault.

One thing Lucivar did know and could tell was it seemed this person was trying to avoid something. He had no idea what he was trying to not do but there had to be something.

Lucivar knew the feeling of not wanting to go somewhere or do something. Still he felt that the best way was to just get it done. Step on the battlefield and fight and win. As such…

“Hello.” Lucivar looked around the plaza. “What is it you don’t want to do that makes this plaza so fun to walk around?”

"Thinking," Wufei replied, not adverse to giving a much-truncated version of the truth. He had no intentions of offering more information as to just what it was he was avoiding thinking about. That would defeat the purpose of not thinking. "Have you a name?"

Lucivar laughed. “I take it thinking hard to not think.”

Lucivar figured he would not tell. He had never met the boy, man, after all. He still had to ask.

When Lucivar was asked his name he again laughed again but to himself, “I’m Lucivar Yaslana. You?”

"Chang Wufei," Wufei said, his voice betraying a hint of the irritation he felt in being laughed at; though he understood how another might find his situation amusing, he did not need to appreciate it.

Lucivar noted Wufei's voice was a bit past annoyed. He always did have the ability to make people mad, even when he did not mean to, though with Wufei he seemed to be faster than normal. Lucivar could only guess it had to do with whatever he did want to think of.

"I see I am as good as ever at annoying people. This is the time I apologize for being so blunt. I am sorry. I just say what I think."

Wufei felt a moment's chagrin, though it did not show in his expression, and then overt exasperation with himself. "It is not you," he said, shaking his head. "I prefer bluntness to attempts to protect politeness. Just recently I have been -- somewhat too easily stung."

When Wufei said it was not Lucivar, Lucivar was half surprised. He really could get on people's nerves faster then; well his brother said anything and everyone he knew agreed. "I am a surprised most do blame me."

"Good to know you prefer bluntness to politeness. That is what I am best at."

With Wufei having been stung Lucivar understood that well. Lucivar nodded. "Stung I can understand. Anyway I can help? With the problem or help with a distraction?"

"You're helping with the distraction already," Wufei said. "Though there's little that can be done to ease the problem other than learning to deal with things I would rather not. Which you are also helping with. If you do not mind my own bluntness, then I think we shall get along."

Lucivar nodded. "Happy to help. It is a nice change for me, most time I just make trouble."

"I don't mind bluntness at all. I agree it seems we will get along well."

"We are alike in that. Mostly causing trouble. You're a fighter, are you not?" Wufei asked, curious. "You have the look of one who depends on the strength of his own body, rather than on the borrowed strength of manufactured weapons."

Lucivar smiled when Wufei said he also caused trouble. Maybe they were more alike then he knew.

"I am. I am an Eyrien and my race has camps where the males learn to be warriors. I learned the Eyrien style as well as how to use a warblade(sword), bow, staff, and bladded staff." As Lucivar talked his wings seemed to twich.

"What of you? You have the look of a warrior." Lucivar seemed to look closer at Wufei at this question.

"The clan I was born to raises all of its children to be fighters," Wufei said with a nod. "Primarily in our own hand to hand style, though I was trained in the use of the sword as well as later specializing in more tehcnologically advanced weapons. Some battles go beyond the ability of any one man, no matter the expertise he has."

Lucivar nodded. "Technologically advanced weapons. That sounds interesting though I have no idea what it is. But I would guess it has to do in part with these messengers." It could be noted when he said messenger that he did not like those things.

Lucivar came from a realm where there was no technology. Luckily before Surreal left she had shown him much of what the messenger could do.

"I agree that some battles go beyond one person. With the way you said that I would take it you have personal experience."
