It was vaguely reminiscent of his first visit to the MCU roof (break in technically, but if Gordon could call the floodlight 'malfunctioning equipment' Harvey felt he could call his own actions an 'unsupervised visitation'), though the anger he had felt then was more a repressed frustration now. Christmas had been surprisingly decent, enough to quell some of the mood the weeks before had put him in. It was a short break considering what still needed to be done - the 'punishment' and dealings with those who had caused the chaos. Harvey sighed as he stepped onto the roof. Funny how he was working to make sure the clown didn't get his head caved in when that was all Harvey had wanted to do for the past month or so.
Harvey closed his coat as he looked around - nothing in sight, not that it meant the caped crusader wasn't around. At least Bruce hadn't seemed keen on playing the playboy game like he normally was, maybe that meant this would go smoothly. Then again just the meeting place made it seem like he had accepted Harvey's knowledge.
"If he is...' Harvey trailed off. It's a thought that plagued him. Having to choose between Harvey and Rachel, being there too when she- and all the Joker's little games playing out while he mourned. Harvey released a breath he hadn't realized he was holding.
