[Thread] Baking Cookies
Characters: AU Tenjoin Asuka, open to whoever.
Where: Paj-Ennea, specifically the kitchen
When: Mid-afternoon-ish.
Summary: In an attempt to, hopefully, bring brighter spirits to the compound, Asuka intends to bake simple cookies for everyone. But having never cooked anything of this magnitude before, she could use a little help. (Not that she would say no to someone who wanted to help even if she didn't need it.)
Warnings: There shouldn't be any, unless something completely unexpected happens...
Her brother and Otogi had been right - if people were so paranoid in this place that they would automatically assume that a gift of cookies from a songstress who didn't get out much were poisoned, that was their loss. At the very least, it would give her something to do, and maybe someone would appreciate it.
So she had asked for the necessary ingredients and, them available, now set out in her self-appointed task to cook a large amount of cookies for the compound. She'd picked up the basics of how to cook here and there, but her recipe was a simple one, for basic sugar cookies. Nothing fancy, but still good. She had also gotten several different shaped cookie cutters and decorations, so that there would be at least some variety.
There was a lot of cooking ahead if she was going to do this for the entire compound. But that was only more incentive to get started right away.
