Characters: OU Faith Lehane, OPEN
Where: Outside
When: Dusk, during Mistletoe!plot
Summary: Faith went trolling around on an abbreviated patrol and found herself stuck. Really can't see the damn things in half-light, evidently.
Warnings: probable swearing, more TBA when applicable
Notes: Please reply to main entry so we can do a multi-person interaction log (...if multiple people opt in anyway) in order of posting. I prefer it and it makes for less brain-breakage if several people troop in to save yon damsel in grumpy distress at the same time. ^_^;
Okay. So Faith? Didn't really dig the big, white, and wet that came part and parcel with winter. One of the reasons she'd first opted to hop a Greyhound straight to Sunnydale. Guaranteed action of the Hellmouth aside, it was one of the few places you didn't have to dig your car out of the driveway every morning come November.
Still. One royally messed-in-the-head Slayer though she may be, she did have a job that occasionally needed doing. And with this whole slew of disappearances and kidnapping, things were on the edginess side. Couldn't hurt to keep an eye out anyway. It was likely the culprits were human--and so totally not her affair, but there was always a possibility.
'Course, all she got out of her good intentions was a large sprig of white berries to the face, and a sudden inability to continue along her way.
It was days like this when it was ass to be one of the White Hats. A little dirty 'round the edges maybe, but still plenty serviceable when all things went to hell.
"Now what?" she muttered to herself, dumping down the weapons duffel next to her. Call it learning through experience, but she wasn't all that keen about spending the twilight hours stuck in some stupid binding spell.
...The pay really sucked for this job.
