Ahiru had never been to a pool party before. She wasn't sure what to expect when she arrived, but she thought it sounded like fun. At least there would be swimming - something she'd been wanting to do since it'd turned too cold.

Under Ahiru's dress, she wore a simple yellow swimsuit. She also carried her own towel. If there were going to be a lot of people at this party, she wasn't sure if the hosts would have enough towels. Bringing her own had seemed like a good idea just in case.

At Paj-Pente, Ahiru knocked on the door.

Fubuki brightened immediately as he heard the knock on the door.

"Hey!" he called cheerfully. "Come on in - the water's fine!"

Ahiru blinked and looked up at the handsome young man. He seemed cheerful and nice, and that brought a smile to Ahiru's face. "Thank you," she said as she stepped inside and looked around.

"You're a little early - not too many other people are here yet," said Fubuki, "but go ahead and make yourself at home. I'm Fubuki, and this is Otogi. Who are you?"

Being around Achmed so much, it was easy for a little duck to forget her manners. But she quickly remembered them again as she pulled off a little curtsy. "My name's Ahiru." And then she glanced around awkwardly, not sure what to do to 'make herself at home.'

"Nice to meet you," said Fubuki. He waved toward the tub, which was bubbling and steaming invitingly. "Pool's open. Do you want a drink or a snack or something? There's always something around..."

Ahiru scampered over to check out the pool, and stared at the bubbling water. That wasn't expected. Hesitantly, she dipped her hand in the water and quickly jerked it out again. "It's hot!" she exclaimed.

"Well, yeah," said Fubuki. "You wouldn't want to jump into cold water in weather like this! Just ease in slowly - you'll get used to it. It's really relaxing!"
