Having learned her lesson last time, Atem made sure that, this time, she found a well shaded spot to have a nap. There'd be no water glare to blind her this time!

Using her claws, she scrambled into one of the trees, before finding a nice, comfortable branch, where she promptly curled up, before disappearing into dreamland.

The snowballs bounced around a while before they became aware of the fact there was someone up in the tree. One of them managed to bounce up there and it settled in front of Atem, opened wide, and, "Rawr!"

"Waaagh!" Atem sat bolt upright, startled, tail fluffed out. Then she saw the snowball, and blinked. "What the ...?"

"Rawr!" The snowball threw itself at Atem, though it wasn't really all that forceful. It tried to gnaw at the closest body part, which would mainly result in her getting a mild chill for the most part.

Otogi, who kept a watch on what his little toys were doing, was trying hard not to laugh as he watched from a short distance away. And this time, he was failing pretty hard.

"Ack!" Atem threw a hand up to defend herself from an icy attack. The last thing she wanted was frostbite!

The snowball flew a bit behind her, bounced, landed, then spied her tail and started to chew on the tip of it as fiercely as something with snow for teeth could.

Otogi hadn't even begun to stop laughing.

Atem whipped around, startled. "Hey, leggo!" She lunged at the snowball to try and get it off her tail, but overbalanced, and landed facefirst in the snow with a muffled curse.

Otogi laughed even as he came over to her. "You all right?" he asked, gesturing to the snowball to drop her tail and leave her be.

Atem spat out a mouthful of snow as she sat up. "Yours?"

"Yeah. Just having a little fun." Otogi motioned and the snowballs lined up in front of Atem and in unison rawred at her.

Atem blinked, and then laughed. "I can see! You must be having a ball watching them wreak havoc."

He grinned wickedly. "It has been a lot of fun. Certainly kills a lot of time, too."

Atem grinned back. "Though I suspect you're having more fun watching people face plant into the snow."

[green_eyed_dice]

"Maybe." Otogi sent the snowballs off to torment...er, amuse themselves with someone else. "That first look when people see them is the best one, though."

"It certainly caught me by surprise," Atem said, grinning again.

"I noticed." Otogi replied with a grin. "It was kind of hard to miss."
