[Thread] Chaos in the air

When: Middle of the night, backdated a bit till right after the disapperance of Archer and Snake.
Summery: Archer's gone and Kimblee's pissed, so she wanders around doing what she does best, making things explode.

Haine heard a noise as he wandered around the compound. It was loud and it sounded like something was being exploded, and it was the truth. There was some destruction around here after all. The white haired man was highly interested in this event.

He followed the noise to find a woman doing such things. His head was tilted. "Having fun?"

Kimblee paused after picking up something on the ground. She looked over her shoulder at Haine and smirked, tossing whatever she had in her hand up into the air and listening to it explode.

"I'm having loads of fun." She said sarcastically. The Alchemist then turned to look at Haine.

"Interested in explosions?" She said, the smirk turning a bit crazy.

"Grenades are louder." Haine calmly suggested. His eyes trailing to the the air, watching whatever it was up in the sky. He picked through his pockets hoping to find one there.

"I prefer to make my own." She said with a shrug. "Alchemy can be a rather useful tool when you know how to use it just right."

She watched Haine for a moment as he dug through his pockets. "It's also more interesting when I get to turn people into walking timebombs."

"Dammit, I don't have any." Haine growled as he stared at his empty hands. This place really hated violence. It probably got confiscated when he got here. "Sounds like an awesome toy." He smirked as he heard how he likes to play with human lives.

She held out one tattooed palm. "I can do a lot of things with these matrixes." She said with a smirk.

"I'm Lt. Colonel Zoe J Kimblee, the Crimson Alchemist." She said with a mocking bow.

"That's amazing." Haine voice didn't change tone as he glanced at the palm. "A lot of things?" He was curious. Who wouldn't be curious to the variety of people stuck here.

"Haine Rammsteiner, and no I don't have a cool name like you." He gave a half smile at the other.

"Well, these two matrixes are used to turn people into bombs. With the right application of Alchemy, you can do a lot. I'm not the only State Alchemist here, but I'm not sure where FullMetal went." She hadn't seen any version of any of the Elrics in a while and she was sure that they were just hiding.

"That will come in handy." Haine did a smirk of his own, he would use that quite often back home instead of his launcher. "I don't know much about this Alchemy...but...I am curious to how they work." He did distance himself away from the woman as he kept an eye on her.

"Where I'm from, alchemy is a major science. A lot of people spend their lives learning about it and mastering different forms." He was smart to keep his distance. She wouldn't hesitate to grab him and do what she had done to countless others. The sound of explosions was like music to her ears.

Haine didn't say anything. Science is nothing but crap. He shouldn't get involved with it again. He didn't want to think about it either. "Humans are born to be played with." Was his true statement.

"That all depends on who you ask. I just think that humans are nothing but components to a bomb. There are some who are interested in making Chimeras." The smirk faded as she remembered what had happened to her. The doctors that had done that to her were now gone and dead. She didn't have to worry about them anymore, but still, what was done was done. She couldn't help that she wasn't human anymore.

"All I know is human experiments." Haine wasn't technically human either, since he had been brought into the underground lab as a child and turned into a weapon for who knows what. There had been yet to be a reason.

"You learn a lot of different things in my world. Alchemy is usually experimented on animals,though there are some who don't like doing that." She shrugged, leaning against the side of a building and looking over at him.

"It all just depends on what you specialize in."

"Where have all the animals gone? I don't think they exist anymore in my world." Haine scratched the hairs on his head, not bothered by the cold wind.

"All depends, yeah."
