Characters: OU Batman, OPEN
Where: the park
When: all evening and night (sundown-sunrise)
Summary: The Bat is out tonight~ Okay, okay. He's in the park mourning Robin's loss and waiting for several people to beat up on (the Joker)/to be beat up on by (Persephone).
Warnings: Angst, possible violence, general Bat-ness
Note: For Perseph or any Bats who go looking for him at midnight he'll be in his usual brooding clearing. For the Joker during the evening the Bat will be somewhere closer to the buildings or actually on one of the rooftops on the edge depending on the set-up you give. Anyone else: he'll be lurking in a random tree or whatever (but not in his hidey spot because that's his alone).
Random: I've had this song stuck in my head since yesterday when I was playing Lego Batman. It's on the soundtrack! It's a legitimate song for the setting! >XD
Robin's loss was a low blow. First the Consulo brought in the Joker shortly after himself, now it had taken someone important to him away. Not only was it's timing bad when it brought in the Bat himself but the time between his adjustment period and the Joker's arrival had--not been enough, to say the least. What had helped, he had to admit it if only to himself, was the presence of several of the Gothamites already here in Econtra. Robin, along with Tim, Dick, and Barbara, were a strong pillar to his overall fortress of strength now that he had truly met them.
He would never say it out loud... but secretly he almost looked forward to the day in his own world when he met these individuals.
But now one of them was gone. And, not that he didn't appreciate them all uniquely for their own reasons, Robin just happened to be one of the few that he had spent more time with. It was horrible of him to think it but--today was "Thanksgiving" after all, haha--he was actually kind of glad it hadn't been Tim that was pulled away. It was still a mighty loss to loose Robin though. He was a strong kid, and a good leader. Even if Batman hadn't actually gotten to see him in his full extent, he could tell. It was there; it was apparent... in everything that he did.
Now Batman wouldn't get to see that anymore. And he missed it.
He headed for the park for the night. It seemed somehow appropriate. And besides that, he had actually told several various individuals that he would be there. He almost looked forward to seeing the Joker--so he could beat the living shit out of him. It was a bad excuse... it was a bad example... it was just plain bad... but he wanted it. Almost... needed it right now.
And if Persephone came to him--he wouldn't mind that either. He'd take whatever she dished out. No qualms, no questions, no words. Nothing. Just, plain, acceptance.
