When Haine heard his name being called he whipped his head to the voice. "Who wants to know?" He asked back to see a boy standing behind him.

[ooc; So he knows Lily? This won't be good. xD]

Haine had been to other worlds and they did tell him about the strange things that were happening. "Another me? And that bastard Giovanni...and who else?!" He almost yelled the last part, trying to calm himself. A mention of Lily would drive him insane. Anything is possible, but Haine couldn't control his rage. He was trying to right now.

Taking a deep breath, he looked away. "Quatre, eh? Nice to meet you...I guess."

"Was she...taken in before or after she died?" Haine asked through gritted teeth. He was clenching his fists tightly against his sides. If it was that professor, he would probably kill her by now.

"...Only a few hours or so and I don't need no damn explanation." Haine was the type to find information by himself, he liked to see things in his own eyes and wanted to experience it for himself.

Haine didn't say anything. Nothing at all. He was stunned. So, she was pulled before he had killed her. That either brought happiness to his face or nothing but a flash of rage.

"Yeah, I have. I haven't met the guy that I'm rooming with...whoever the hell he is."

Haine could only listen to what the other boy was saying. Kindness? What is that? "Kindness, huh?" He could only thought about his own world where kindness is a rarity. Haine was kind himself, maybe he just didn't realized it. That he was a nice and gentle person deep inside. The memories of him killing his sister made him turn out the way he is today. He had a soul back then, perhaps that is why he saved that girl, Nill and took her in making her stay with Bishop.

"Why does it fucking matter? All in all, everyone is the same one way or the other." He didn't know what words to say or choose. He just lashed out with full force. So he just say what was on his mind. He knew that when he get back, his job was to go back to the underground and kill that professor. She didn't deserve to live, even if he was her favorite.

"That is who I am." That was his answer to the first question. He let his eyes wander around the boy and through the skies and pass the silence.

"By the other me? What did he show that was...kindness?" He still didn't think that word had a name for it. Kindness, he knew he showed it subconsciously. But, Nill was also proof that he had such emotions.

Haine didn't answer, but he did make several glares at the boy at the mention of Lily and Giovanni. He kicked a tree with his boot, the spike entering the the stump and pulled it out with force, the tree nearly broke and fell. That was his answer.

Haine already knew that, if he could see Lily again it would make his while. He still became silent as he saw the other walk away. "One day, you'll see my kindness again Quarte! But it won't be for a long time." He shouted at the other and smiled slightly. Talking to this boy made him realized plenty of things, things will change.
