He had obviously been expecting Johan's arrival -- the other's recent post had made such a thing quite clear and Judai hadn't even needed to order him to do anything in particular, knowing full-well that the boy now knew better than to actively defy him ( ... )

Johan entered at the command, keeping himself as calm as he could. He knew his deck was in there; probably on Haou's own person. That was where he'd kept it the last time, after all. He refused to show so much as a hint of nervousness at the moment. Any weakness shown could be and would be pounced upon.

Though, frankly, the way people kept reacting to his work clothes just baffled Johan. And he wasn't very interested in finding out why Haou was staring at him, either. He wanted his deck back.

He crossed over to where Haou was sitting and stared down at him. It wasn't so much defiance in his gaze as there was anger at being forced to do this, anger that would not fade until he had what was his back again.

As soon as Johan walked fully within the living-room, Judai was able to clearly see just what the other was wearing, each detail of the rather cringe-inducing whole making him wonder what sane creature would actually choose to clothe itself with such a thing. It wasn't a question of aesthetics -- the boy held absolutely no interest in such frivolous things -- but one of purpose. Even an inexperienced individual as himself could see a definite purpose behind the intricate inlay of belts and buckles adorning the other's form, meant to emphasize certain physical traits ( ... )

Johan's head snapped back at the hit, but he didn't fall this time. He stood his ground, and wiped his lip, checking to see if there was blood almost casually.

"This?" Why did this outfit get this reaction from people? It was just what he wore to duel. It wasn't that impressive. "It's my dueling outfit. I wear it to duel back home. And since I'm getting my deck back, I thought it was appropriate. And why do you even care?"
