Characters: Faye Valentine (OU), Radical Edward (OU) Where: Tzu-Enas When: After this thread. Summary: Faye needs to talk to Ed about stuff. Warnings: Uh, shouldn't be any.
Ed hummed to herself as she meandered about, taking the long way to Tzu-Enas. She skipped and hopped, danced and ran, crawled and rolled, until she finally found the building and headed up to the right floor. And that wasn't even a straight line. After all, there was more than one staircase. She went up and down and up and down... wandered along the hallways... then finally stopped outside the right door.
"FAYE-FAYE!" she called, knocking on the door. "Trick-or-treat?"
Faye waited... and waited... and waited. She tapped her foot and crossed her arms, frowning. Her frown got darker and darker with each passing minute. She was about to send another message to Ed on the PDA when the girl loudly announced her arrival, causing Faye to jump.
Scowling, she stalked over to the door and pulled it open, glaring down at the cheerful redhead. "What took you so long?!" she complained loudly.
"Faye-Faye?" Ed asked, confused. "Was Ed supposed to be here on time?" Completely innocent, she had no idea that Faye was impatiently waiting for something. "What's wrong?" she asked, walking into the room.
Faye made a frustrated sort of growly noise. Don't kill the kid, don't kill the kid... I really want to kill the kid. Why not kill the kid? ...Oh. Right.
Faye took a few deep breaths, calming down and trying not to look so sour. "Never mind, Ed," she replied through gritted teeth. "Thanks for coming." She shut the door behind the girl and stalked back to the couch, collapsing on it with a sigh.
"I need your help, Ed," she said. "My screened entries on the PDA keep getting hacked. They're kinda like computers, right? I was wondering if there was some kinda anti-hacking program you could write to keep my screened posts and comments private? And make it so I can make unhackable anonymous posts too? ...I figured, since you're the best hacker in the system~...." She smiled sweetly at the girl.
"Faye-Faye~..." Ed whined. "You still didn't give Ed something good from last time~!" She pouted, flopping down on the floor right in front of the door with her arms and legs crossed in a mighty show of childish stubborness.
Faye rolled her eyes. "The chocolate's in my room. I was planning on giving you some, actually. ...Anyway, you never told me if you learned anything useful from the Indigeo."
Faye sighed, grabbing her PDA and following her. "Is that all you got out of it?" she asked, sounding disappointed. "It said the same thing to me."
Entering her room, Faye picked up the box chocolates that was sitting on her bed and opened it. There were a few chocolates missing, since she'd eaten a few herself. "Here, have as much as you'd like," she said reluctantly. She was loathe to use up her bargaining chip, but if Ed was going to be difficult.... "So can you do it? Fix my PDA so my screened entries are unhackable, and I can make anonymous posts?"
Ed worked, her attention shifted away from the remainder of the chocolates as she tapped her fingers on the keys. She set it up so Faye's entries would automatically be private. Once done, she hopped up on the bed next to Faye.
"Faye-Faye, here!" she said. "Ed did it. Now you press here to make things see-able... and you press here to pick someone to see it!" She held out the PDA to Faye with both hands, grinning widely.
Faye beamed wider. "Edward, you are wonderful~! I don't know how I'd get by without you~!"
Faye watched Ed dive into the chocolates with a small sigh of resignation. She watched the girl for a few moments with a feeling of fond aggravation. "Hey Ed," she said after a pause, "do you wanna know a secret~?"
Faye set her PDA down on the bed. "Okay, but you have to come with me into the other room. And leave your PDA here. ...You can take the chocolates with you, if you want."
"FAYE-FAYE!" she called, knocking on the door. "Trick-or-treat?"
