Morgana wasn't in a good mood at all. When she had found out that someone had taken the antidote for Gosalyn she stalked out of her apartment and set out, trying to use her magic to try and find it. So far it had lead her to finding absolutely nothing. She was rather annoyed that her spells kept backfiring.

She paused when she got to the fountain and looked around. She then felt the tingle of magic in the air around someone close by and she blinked at Elphaba.

"You know how to do magic." She stated, walking closer.

The earth-brown eyes swung around to take in the duck-woman, both sharpening and softening in surprise as the witch came to recognize yet another Animal, or so it would appear. It seemed while the talent was fading from the sentient Animals of Oz, this world still had plenty of speaking beast-kind. This made her somewhat angry, irrationally so, but nonetheless sparked a sort of flare of wrathful rage within her mostly-sane mind.

The fringes of her thoughts curled ash-black with hidden inner disappointment. Didn't I try so hard in Oz to save them? Didn't I? And here they thrive, here they walk about without fear - perhaps even with confidence over humankind. Why here... why not there? Her broom was in her hand, and she was glad, because she could grip it tightly with trembling fingers to try and still her trembling. Even in another world there was plenty to remind her of her past failures ( ... )

"It all depends on what world you're from. Some places magic is quite real." Morgana said with a slight smile. "My name is Morgana Macawber." She said, introducing herself. Her anger had faded a bit around the edges, but it was still here. She shivered, finally noticing that she had left her apartment without a coat. It was rather cold outside.

Sighing, she waved her hand around, motioning like she was wrapping a cloak around herself and in a shower of silver sparkles, a cloak did appear around her.

"That's much better." She said with a smile.

Elphaba shook her head, though at what it was hard to tell. The motion was indistinct and meant to be so. During the introduction, the brown eyes focused on the billed face before her, a slight furrow forming in the verdant brow. "Elphaba. Elphie. Whatever you prefer." The witch said with a tired shrug, watching without comment as the cloak appeared and wrapped itself around the Duck's shoulders.

"Welcome to Econtra, Elphaba." She said pleasntly. "You'll find out quickly that odd things will happen." She looked around and sighed as she saw the Keepers floating around in the sky.

"We've all been here to fight things like those." She said, motioning up at the sky. "Those are the Keepers, the ones responsable for bringing us here."

The emerald woman almost snapped at the Duck that of course odd things seemed to happen here - unless by some odd chance the denizens of this compound were used to being snatched out of their respective existences and shoved into a cage that resembled an animal park. If that was the case, then Elphaba might actually need to rethink her usual desire to feel sorry for herself - obviously there were others far more complacent and broken than she.

But the witch neither clawed nor metaphorically bit, though she looked ready to do either in utter annoyance from the obvious information everyone seemed to be spouting at her. Of course its odd. I'm green, not blind! Elphaba thought uncharitably.

"So I've heard." The froggy-hued being said dryly, not seeming to care if her boredom and apathy showed clearly in her voice and on her distinctive features.

Morgana ignored the boredom in Elphaba's voice, after all, her own held the same thing. She had no idea what to do to get back home and she didn't know if any of her spells would work with the Keepers still floating around the place.

"No one has yet to find a way back home. The cuffs are gone, but trying to get over the wall will get you killed." She sighed.
