Summary: C.C. thinks Jing is her master, but what he's simply trying to do is just show her around the compound.

There were so many people.
That was the first thought to enter C.C.'s head as she strode across the plaza, heading in the direction Jing had given. She was incessantly repeating it within her mind, not wanting to forget it in fear of displeasing him. He was her master, and, having finally found him now, it was a relief to discover that he was not upset with her. In fact, he sounded very warm, speaking to her a great deal kinder than her previous masters. Of course, that didn't mean he wouldn't be disinclined to punishing her mistakes, so she'd have to be wary of all her errors, trying her best to fulfill his every order.
The first step in doing so, would be in finding him. Jing had said he was wearing a bright, orange coat, which ought to be easy to spot. However, it was already difficult traversing the plaza, for with the numerous throngs of people, she felt like shrinking back from the fear constantly rippling through her. It wasn't often a slave was allowed to move so freely, and she kept worrying that someone would approach her, seize her by the wrist, and forcefully drag her to where she were to belong...or worse - given a castigation.
Swallowing as she attempted to drive away all negative thoughts, her golden-amber eyes continued to scan the area, searching desperately for Jing.
