Tony Stark was there--or rather, Iron Man was there. He was in an inconspicuous "corner" standing out of the way shortly after both of them arrived. He was by no means sneaky in the way he appeared, but he did not fly and with the pair so focused on one another it was doubtful they noticed his approach ( ... )

Persephone arrived moments later, clad for battle. The armor she had requisitioned before the Keepers' attack was on and clenched tightly in a hand was her staff.

She moved to join Kragok, brambles and thorns trailing in her wake, and stood silently beside him, the goddess doing her best to look menacing. It was the Grandmaster's battle, but Persephone saw no reason for him to face the false god Finitevus on his own.

Fay had requested Fye's help, and so Fye had come to others aid, even if it all seemed a little pointless to him. However, this was a friend of Fay's, and since he was the stronger of the two, Fay had begged for his help. And he wasn't about to say no. After all, it was hard to resist the person you constantly lived with pouting up at you in your head.

So that's how he found himself here, using the sounds of auras and objects in his head to guide where he was going and where the people were. Eventually he joined the other two that he could feel standing at the side lines along with himself. Kragok had stated this was his fight, so Fye crossed his arms and calmly waited for his cue to step in, if there happened to be one.

He could tell by the hostile auras of the two engaged in such a fight that this was going to be anything but easy. He may be blind, but that was a very easy thing to see.

Finitevus's emotions were impossible to read under that mask, but his crossed arms and steady glare made his anger fairly obvious. Kragok had brought aid. Why hadn't Finitevus thought of this? Though Kragok should have been little challenge, his allies would most certainly make things even more difficult. The newly risen god spent several moments inwardly plotting, trying to solve the conundrum of finishing off Kragok without opening himself to the other attackers. It was only when he looked them over more carefully that he noticed it.

None of them were moving.

Yes, thought Finitevus with a sneer, that's perfect. Kragok wants to face me himself. That would be all the Chaos-powered echidna needed.

"Welcome, then, Grandmaster," Finitevus greeted. "I am glad you could make it. After all, what kind of wake would this be without the guest of honor himself?"

Kragok, Tony, Persephone, Fay, Finitevus for now? gm_kragok November 7 2008, 21:16:15 UTC
Ignoring Finitevus's jibe, Kragok turned his head, acknowledging the arrivals of Tony, Persephone, and Fay with a nod. "It is good to see you've prepared," he commented to Persephone, turning away to regard Finitevus again, "because this may be somewhat difficult." Scowling, the echidna raised his cybernetic hand, clenching it into a fist before the albino 'god'.

"Today is your own end, Finitevus!" he declared. "Your treachery, your arrogance, and your threats will be tolerated no more. Let's end this."

He had to wonder, just how much did Finitevus know about what Chaos power did to Enerjak?

((Sorry. This is me sick. Prepare for short post! Also--BSing on the device as I have no clue about what it's supposed to look like or anythhing else other than its basic principle.))

And Pepper thought Tony was horrible with the cliché "speeches." The Iron Man ignored what was going on in the "ring" and knelt down where he was at. Whether or not it was in the original designs, Stark had built the device both small and with a stand that required no one's touch to keep it active. He began setting this up delicately. As soon as the fighting started--well. It was ready.

A cloaked archer waited in the shadows yards behind Ironman. Her hood was pulled down low to hide her eyes. When Finitevus' jeers reached her, her full lips parted in a sigh without breath. As Kragok was replying she took a step out of hiding and drew back her chosen arrow, a slim armor piercer, badly blunted upon her arrival, and took aim. She sought the vulnerable place where helm joined neckguard on the small figure, somewhere behind his left ear. Satisfied, she let the arrow fly and dodged back into hiding before anyone could mark her as the source of the missile, which had ignited in blue fire as it flew.

Sylvanas understood vengeance. But every second those two postured increased the chance of a passerby spotting them. To avoid that outcome, she had selected an arrow black with poison, a paralyzer laced with a little of her own undead energy. If it killed, Kragok could have his way with Finitevus' animated bones. Or she could make the “living god” simply rot and collapse. That would be easier. Fewer questions.

Persephone had opened her mouth to respond to Kragok, bu before she got the chance, the arrow went whistling by, heading straight for Finitevus. Whether it hit or not, she missed, but the goddess pulled herself into a defensive stance, the brambles curling and arcing around her like a shield.

Well, that certainly was interesting. Fye made an almost loud scoff at the way the albino idiot talked. Only weaklings bragged about how powerful they actually were. And he wished he had the opportunity to say it, but decided he would be better off just letting the other waste his breath. Instead he flickered an ear to the sound of someone tinkering beside him. Wasn't sure what it was, but it wasn't important enough to him specifically to show much curiosity.

Then a familiar whistling sound caught Fye's attention. An arrow then. A very powerful one by the sound of it. It was also had something dark associated with it. Whether it was dipped in it, smothered in it, or just plain it itself, he wasn't sure. All he knew, was that someone was an idiot for firing when it wasn't their turn or right to fire yet.

Fye sighed loudly. There seemed to be a lot of idiots around here these days.

The arrow was narrowly deflected from its course by Finitevus's armor, and the god turned to regard the general source of the arrow. Nothing seemed to be there, but Finitevus's rage remained. He spun back to glare at Kragok, his fury obvious in the form of his glowing eyes. "You said this was between us! What is this treacher--" His sentence never finished, as Kragok was already in the air, having taken advantage of Finitevus's distracted state.

He felt the Grandmaster's foot connect cleanly with his face. The sound of metal crushing beneath the impact was obvious, and the next thing Finitevus knew, he was rolling across the ground, flopping like a rag doll before colliding with a piece of the stone wall surrounding the cemetery.

Rising slowly, Finitevus raised one hand to his face, trying to hold the mask in place. It was no use, however, and the mask came off, damaged beyond use by Kragok's attack. Kragok's attack had been a good one, testified by the albino echidna's black eye, bloodied face, and missing tooth.

Kragok > Tony > Sylvanas > Fay > Quatre > Finitevus? Is that all right? gm_kragok November 11 2008, 22:50:25 UTC
"Oh, shut up and try fighting, Finitevus," Kragok demanded. He moved in again, charging as fast as he could in a dead run to beat the life out of Finitevus. The albino's treachery stung as much as it ever had in Kragok, and he found himself hating the scientist even more for the way he had treated Kragok's sister. Bringing his mechanical fist back, Kragok prepared to deliver a punch that would send even some of the toughest to their knees.

(OOC: Still a ninja but he's a ninja looking out for Q!)

Soma gave a soft squeak at the sight of Quatre stumbling in. What was the wounded showing up at a throw down? Disgruntled he swooped down and began hovering near Quatre. If the boy needed a quick escape he was getting one.

Well, the wannabe god was definitely distracted now. In an odd, far-off-in-the-corner-of-his-mind way Tony was vaguely amused by the two actions of the Echidnas. The white one got the label of "just plain stupid" while Kragok tended to be more a "malicious and I like it" amusement. If Tony were actively thinking about he'd probably wonder what the hell was wrong with himself ( ... )

Sylvanas heard her arrow glance off its target. Too bad. It was never that quick when it mattered.

At least the others were engaging. She glanced quickly at the scene. Finitevus was down, and Kragok was preparing for a close-range punch. Better to wait this round.

(ooc: Sorry for the lateness! I wasn't sure what Sylvanas would do. Waiting works.)
