Summary: Playing with her water powers! Mercury needs to get her bearings again.

It was fine like this, right by the water. She could feel it, hear its voice in the little wavelets that lapped at the banks of the pond. Mercury closed her eyes. She would have liked to hear nothing else.
Once she'd opened her eyes again, the blue-haired girl stepped into the water, wading instead of walking on its surface so that she could feel the light current created by her movements as it swirled around her body. It was very cold by human standards, but that didn't bother her.
Mercury touched the water and then began to play, throwing handfuls into the air. As she did, each tiny droplet became a miniscule fragment of ice that captured the light and glittered before falling back to the water and floating atop the surface.
It was time to seem a little more cheerful, wasn't it?
