Tim's eyes flashed with irritation. "I'm fine. I just need to sleep, not be babied. For God's sake! You two are acting like I've never been injured before! I can take care of myself!" He stalked the rest of the way toward his bed, scowling deeply, and threw back the blankets the rest of the way. Dropping onto the bed, he glared at both of them, looking... somewhat less than threatening in sleep-pants and a t-shirt.

Cissie frowned, watching him. "Maybe you've been injured before, but you don't normally get your face slashed."
