Characters: Takion, Open Where: Park When: Sometime during third stage mod!plot Summary: With no cuffs, Takion decides to take advantage of being able to write pretty nearly anything that pops in his head. Warnings: WTFery?
Morty looked confused when he suddenly smelled muffins in the middle of the park and came to the conclusion that they were growing on a nearby tree. "... Interesting. Are you doing that?" he asked the man leaning against it. He was fairly sure it had been a normal tree a few minutes ago.
Again Takion's attention was drawn from his writing as he looked up to spy a young man. "If by 'that' you mean the change in scenery, then the answer is yes," Takion answered with a grin. "If you mean something else, then probably not."
Morty laughed. "I have to admit I've never seen a muffin tree before. Or a..." He hesitated, not quite sure what the furry flying thing was. He gave up and just gestured at it. "One of those."
Takion couldn't help but preen when the young man laughed. He did so love it when his works were enjoyed. "You may want to harvest some if you're a bit short on food. None of this will stay for terribly long. Wouldn't want to upset our shocking friends, after all."
"It's called a squirrel," Takion answered as he wondered what sort of world didn't have squirrels. "They generally tend to be tree-dwellers, although they do not normally have wings. I was merely playing on a variation of the species known as a 'flying squirrel.'"
"They're called Pokemon. The closest I've ever seen to a... squirrel... is called a Pachirisu, and, well..." Morty shrugged. "Pachirisu are blue, spiky, and generate electricity."
That description didn't sound much like a squirrel to Takion, but he supposed it was possible that the shape was vaguely the same if nothing else was. And they did sound like interesting beasties, these Pachirisu. "I've certainly never heard of a squirrel quite like that!"
Morty nodded. "There was a Pokemon of a different type here for a while - two, actually. Alternates of the same Pikachu. I think they've left, though..."
"Ah! I remember that one!" Actually, Takion would have had a hard time forgetting the Pikachu. The little creature had, after all, decided that his shoe would make a delightful mate. The problem with that had been that Takion was wearing the shoe at the time. And Pikachu had given a shock worthy of the cuffs when Takion had seen fit to dunk him.
