Juudai quickly answered the door with a grin, recognizing the voice instantly. He'd simply been waiting idly, having been expecting her, so he'd made sure not to get himself involved with anything beforehand. Johan was out, as well, so they would have time to themselves.

"Hi, Yubel! So, hey, do you want to go outside for a little while for this, or would you rather stay here?"

"Let's go out for a while. Some air wouldn't be bad right around now, would it? We just better make sure we dress warmly enough--I guess the weather around here is a little different from the Academy, isn't it?" Yubel asked with a laugh. She missed the place for more than the weather, but at least some things hadn't changed all that much here.

Yubel looked down at herself, checking her clothing to make sure she wouldn't freeze if she went out. She'd probably be fine, she guessed. She'd already put on some extra layers to protect against the lowering temperatures in Econtra, so the cold probably wouldn't bother her too much. "What do you think?"

"This place is temperate, so it has all four seasons, unlike the tropical island the Academy was on. I kinda preferred the warm weather, myself, but this Osiris jacket's held up against cold weather fine before," Juudai said confidently, tugging on the fabric of his red blazer almost in an act of affection to it. "So if you're fine with the cool weather, then so am I. Let's go, then!"

He took Yubel's hand and smiled at her, motioning briefly for her to walk with him down to the entrance of the apartment building. A casual stroll around the park sounded good right about now, anyway.

"You've been here for a while, haven't you?" Yubel asked as they started down. "I'm no stranger here anymore, but you seem really familiar with this place. I've only been here for..." She stopped for a second to count the time between the present and her arrival. "Around three months now, actually, not counting the time I disappeared for a couple weeks. Hey, that was longer than I thought! Sometimes it feels like time flies--here, or at the Academy."

Yubel smiled, thinking of the Academy; the hallucinations had, at least, made her start appreciating the people she'd met there a little more. "I wonder what's going on there, from time to time...how my world's version of you is doing, or if Manjoume's stopped acting so weird." She paused, remembering something she'd been worried over a while ago, but jokingly continued, "And I have to wonder how Shou and Kenzan are getting on--last I saw them, they were looking for you under rocks on the ground."
