Summary: Just when you thought threads couldn't get any more random, we give you Rhodey and Midna. Together...no, not like that.

It wasn't that Colonel Rhodes wasn't an adventurous man, you had to be if you were committed to a life in the military, but the current sight of the ominous energy beings hanging in the sky above was enough to make anyone weary about wandering too far from safety. Though after what he saw in the visions, he was beginning to question how safe the place really was.
Though the cold weather, specifically the biting wind, had bothered him at first the view from the steps of his apartment building was too frightening, too fascinating to behold much less be bothered by a little thing like 40 below weather. Rhodey was lost in thought (mostly mulling over why he had been brought here over and over), everything in the compound was still new and so far he hadn't bothered to spend any quality time with the other inhabitants.
His neck was starting to get sore but he continued to stare upwards, too engrossed and deep in his own musings to mind something like tired muscles.
