Aerith felt she was dealing fairly well, considering. It was difficult for her, there was no doubt about that. Learning that she had died, and that the man responsible for it was here was a lot to swallow in a short amount of time. Sephiroth had given her a lot to think about as well, about her actions here, and the repercussions of them should she return to her own world -- or if anyone else came here. Sitting in front of the pond with her knees pulled up to her chest, Aerith looked up at the sky, thinking. She gently trailed one hand in the water, contemplating how she was going to tell Fayt about what happened, and how she herself would come to terms with the fact that she had died in her own world -- to save the planet, which had been her destiny. She had written about how she thought maybe coming here was her planets way of giving her another chance at happiness, since she had missed out on so much back home. At least, Aerith was trying to tell herself that. She wasn't quite sure she believed it yet, but what she shared with Fayt made her wonder...could that really be the reason? Aside from fighting against an enemy she couldn't see, could her planet have let her go so she could experience the life she should have been able to have?
