Hearing the remark, Derek stopped in his tracks, looking around for the source for a second before locating him. The comment left him puzzled, since he was pretty sure he hadn't said anything out loud, aside from the humming brought on by the recent bouts of singing. Of course, he'd seen stranger things here.

"Thank you, but...can you read minds, or did I say that out loud by mistake?"

"Oh...thank you again, then! That's a relief." Derek laughed, a little nervously--he'd gotten used to all the magic in Econtra, but he still wasn't too personally acquainted any anybody who could use it outside of healing. "I guess you can tell the future or something like that too, then, huh?"

"Right again! You're pretty good at this, aren't you--or is it that obvious?" The idea of a walk on a nice day wasn't exactly novel, but Cobweb had been right the first couple of times. "In any case, have fun with your gardening!"
