Summary: Kir wants to meet Cassis face to face, and Cassis is in for the shock of a lifetime. (Like she hasn't had enough of those recently.)
Warnings: Umm... shock? And probably followed by squee.
He felt cold even though the air wasn't chilled, and he suspected it had nothing to do with the ambient temperature. Likewise, wearing his jacket seemed to have no effect, although he'd put it on with the intention to hide his wings for the time being. He was mostly sure that Cassis would recognize him; Etna had quick enough, after all. But Kir wasn't sure how she would react, and anything he could do to ease the shock on her, he would.
So Jing was here after all. But just from the tiny conversation (if you could call it that) Kir had experienced, he realized that Etna had been right. This wasn't anything like his Jing; this one was harsh and cold where his partner had been easy-going and kind. He could only hope that what he'd been told was true: that this wasn't how this Jing normally acted, that it was some abnormality.
He scuffed his boot idly at a loose stone, deep in thought as he waited for the blonde to arrive.
