It briefly occurred to Yusuke that this was the second time that one of these things had turned him small enough for Ryou to carry around. Not that he particularly minded - currently, he was contently snuggled in (the younger version of) his boyfriend's arms, and there was no reason he could see for him to ask to be put down (even if he could, you know, speak in a manner comprehensable to humans at the moment, haha) - but he vaguely wondered if he'd ever go through one of these again where he could actually keep his regular height.

There were many things about being human that interested Larka - having been transformed into one (though, admittedly, a female one) in a previous incident, she had an idea of what aspects she preferred over others. One of her lamentations, however, was how dulled humans' senses were. Their eyesight wasn't as sharp, their noses weren't as sensitive, and their hearing was far inferior. And therefore, it wasn't until the young boy and the rabbit were a short distance away that the wolf-in-human-form noticed their presence and turned to see who was there.

And who would it be but the young dragga who reminded her so much of her brother? Apparently made younger by the same spell that had changed her body with that of that irritable human male, but still.

"Hello there," Larka nodded in greeting. Which, to those who knew Manjoume, would seem rather strange coming from his body, but.

Ryou looked over quickly at the voice, to be certain they were addressing him. Then he nodded a little politely. "Hello." He didn't think that he knew them. At least he couldn't remember having met anyone who looked like them before. But since he also didn't remember how he got to this strange place, he wasn't going to worry about it. It was definitely one of the less strange aspects of whatever was going on.

It wasn't as though Larka had been expecting to be called by name, either hers or the boy's. After all, the magic worked in different ways for each person, and while she had kept all of her memories when she had regressed into a puppy, the same could not be said for everyone when they were caused to return to their own childhoods.

Rather than commenting on that, she turned her - Manjoume's - head toward the sky and instead mused, "The weather is nice today, don't you think?"

Ryou wasn't really one for too much casual conversation, but he did know how to be polite. Master Samejima and his own parents had taught him that. And perhaps a hint of a few memories that the first time he'd been nine hadn't existed whispered something in the back of his mind as well.

"It's warmer than I was expecting," he said honestly. "But it is nice."

Larka nodded slightly before replying, "The one thing that I believe I will regret, when I return to my own body, is that the breeze is cooler when it hits human skin than when it passes through the fur of a Varg."
