Characters: AU!Inoue Orihime, OU!Yoh Asakura where: The Park When: Afternoon sometime Summery: Orihime and Yoh have a friendly spar. Warnings: Nothing much I can think of.
It didn't take Yoh too long to arrive at the park; wearing his workout attire, something he was definitely used to exercising around in. Which basically just consisted of a simple white t-shirt and sweatpants. He was carrying Amidamaru's Harusame when he stepped up to Orihime, giving a friendly wave with his free hand and a smile to her. "Hey, you're here," he commented, almost pointlessly.
She nodded. "Its nice meeting you face to face." She said, smiling at him. "I'm Inoue Orihime." Yoh didn't look much younger than she did when she died. She wasn't surprised though, the computer seemed to bring in a lot of younger people as well as older.
"Face to face is always better than typing over the mini computer thingies. That's what I don't get about kids these days." Yoh chuckled, jokingly and gripped the handle of his sword a bit tighter. "And I'm Yoh! Or did I already introduce myself?" He laughed again and nodded. "So quick to jump into action? Hey, I'm ready when you are."
She nodded, drawing her Zanpakuto. "I've been here for a while now. You get used to odd things here." She said. "I hope you're ready." She said, her expression going a bit more serious before she dashed towards him, moving to slice downward.
Here's where all Yoh's labor training pays off, as he was quick to block the downward slash with his own sword, a clinging sound ringing through the air where the two weapons meet. He pressed his sword against hers and smirked, and then sidestepped to swing it at her side, horizontally.
Orihime smiled at Yoh as she jumped back to avoid his horizontal slash. "Not bad." She said before dashing at him again, this time with her own horizontal slash.
Yoh smiled back, only to be caught off guard by her attack, which he was able to block with his sword only after getting hit with the blunt of it. It caused him to skip back, but he tried not to lose his balance, and so he took another battle stance with his sword outright in front of him. "You too," he also took the time to comment.
The smile didn't fade much as she watched Yoh step back and then get his balance back. She nodded to him a bit as she held her sword in a defensive stance. She was going to see just how he attacked now.
