Belldandy was a bit more cheery about this 'help.' After all, she hadn't implanted Zuko with anything yet, so there was a good point to be made. She had the ever cheerful smile on her face as she knocked on the door.

Another to add to the ranks. She idly wondered if she could even guilt trip him now about trying to seduce her too?

The Fire Prince rose to his feet and opened the door at her knock, having expected her. He held the door open for her and motioned for her to come in. He felt a little awkward all of a sudden, recognizing her as one of the girls he'd tried to hit on months ago when he'd been under the effects of that lust plot. Zuko would have apologized, if not for the fact that he'd rather not bring up anything relating to that time if he could help it.

"Thanks for offering to do this," he said instead. "Can I get you anything? Tea?"

Oh, it seemed he already felt awkward and guilt a few moments upon seeing her. She'd ENJOY watching this one suffer. Belldandy smiled at Zuko after she entered. "I'd love some."

Zuko felt bad for being grateful for her acceptance of his offer of tea, because he was glad to leave the room and compose himself as to not act so noticeably awkward around her for what happened then, even if all he'd tried to do was kiss her. She hadn't let him and he was glad she didn't, but he'd still tried and that made him feel like an ass. He already had some tea made, so there was no need to make a fresh pot, so he quickly poured her and himself a glass and returned to the living room.

He held a cup out to her.

Belldandy smiled and took the cup, taking a sip. "It's good." She said. It was surprisingly good. Like he really wanted to take care of making it, or something similar to that.

She liked the taste, but hated that she did.

Zuko skill with tea-making was something few people in Econtra knew. Mai, Toph, and Azula knew, of course, as did Sokka, but the only person who wasn't from his world who was aware of this odd talent was the older Quatre--and now, Belldandy. "It's my uncle's recipe," he said. "Well, as close as I can get to it here."

He sat down on the floor, cross-legged, and motioned for her to sit as well.

"He was quite good." Belldandy commented, kneeling down in front of him.

"Yes, he was," Zuko said in agreement, somewhat sadly.

He wouldn't admit it to anyone outside of his sisters, girlfriend, and Quatre, but he missed his uncle. Terribly. More than anything else--even his mother, which was knowledge that somewhat shocked him, but even he was clever enough to realize that by now, he was used to his mother's presence being absent. She'd been banished when he was eleven, after all and in less than two weeks' time, he'd be eighteen.

Not that he really cared much about his birthday. He hadn't paid much attention to it since his own banishment.

Of course he wouldn't admit it, but that's what empathy was for! Belldandy smiled gently. "You miss him?"

Zuko looked up, not expecting her to ask that. While he did indeed miss Iroh, he said, "I miss a lot of people from my world," instead.

He set his cup of tea aside and rested his hands on his knees. "How do you...retrieve memories?"

Belldandy nodded. "I see."

She set down her cup. "These spells affect our memories, but they are still within us. If I merely stimulate your subconscious, the memories should be clear to you." She said.

Zuko's good eyebrow arched as he tilted his head to the side in an obvious gesture of curiosity. "...and how are you going to stimulate my subconscious?"

"There are spells for it." Belldandy said simply.

"And that's what you're going to do to me?" He asked, looking weary. Zuko didn't have a good history with magic. "Put a spell on me."

"Exactly." Belldandy said. "It's harmless. Well, for the most part. You might get a very painful headache, but nothing dangerous."

"A headache, I can live with," he said. "I just want to be able to remember that week."

Zuko sighed, not liking the idea of magic being involved in this, but knowing it was the only way. He'd tried everything else. "Do what you have to."
