Characters: Fool, Mahaado Where: Yil-Okto When: During the attack of the annoying tomatoes Summary: Mahaado has offered to shrink some tomatoes down to juggling size for Fool Warnings: None
Ick... It was a new way to paint the floors, but still, not the least bit pleasant. Mahaado had opted to put up a shield about himself, oh and hover. He was floating quietly as he moved along looking for the apartment before walking in. "Greetings?" he called out.
((OOC: Weee the storm doesn't sound like it's coming 'here' so here I am. Hope you don't mind him just walking in.))
Fool zipped straight for Mahaado, with the tomato chasing. He thought that perhaps the little red fruit might seek to splatter itself on him in revenge for being used in a brief acrobatic act.
Mahaado shrugged as he tilted his head to the side, before reducing the tomate into somthing very small, actually too small. But with his magical shields up he wasn't worried, about the tomatoe. The Fool on the other hand... well he hoped the Being didn't fly straight 'into' the shield. That would hurt.
Unfortunately for Fool, that was exactly where his trajectory took him. He hit the invisible barrier and fell to the floor, landing on the shrunken tomato. It was hardly a graceful moment for the performing spirit.
Oh dear... So that must have been the being... rather small one must say, but Mahaado was not one to judge. He knelt down enough to lift up Fool, from the ground... "Are... are you well? Forgive me I did not think you would fly into my shields..." he apologized wondering if the person could even hear him.
Fool sat up in Mahaado's hands, rubbing his head. That had not been the best way to make a good impression on a guest. "I've had worse run-ins," Fool murmured.
"Still, I should have lowered the shields, I did not realize you were propelled as opposed to flying on your own. At least that's how it seemed to me..." He replied politely, bringing his hand up so Fool wouldn't have to look up so high to see him.
"I do fly on my own," Fool stated. He stood and drifted easily upward so that he was eye-level with his guest. "I just had too much momentum going to stop in time."
Mahaado nodded accepting the Fools words. "I see, forgive me for not dropping the shield... But it would not be seemily for me to walk around with tomatoe splatters on my robes." He explained politely before opting to magically lift up several tomatoes.
Fool did indeed have a size in mind, although it wasn't very specific. "Small enough for me to juggle," he responded, holding out a hand so that Mahaado could at least get a vague idea of the correct size.
Mahaado nodded, taking one of his precaught tomatoes and let it float in the air beside them before he used his magics to shrink it down. He wondered, briefly, if Mana ever mastered the spell as it continued decreasing more and more.
Fool watched closely as the tomato became smaller and smaller. It was an impressive bit of magic, especially to the tiny spirit whose only real claim to magic was being able to fly. "Just about... There!" he announced when the tomato was the size of a juggling ball to Fool.
Mahaado stopped and increased the size back to where it had been when the Fool had made his decision. With the size now in mind, Mahaado began reducing more tomatoes for Fool. "Five you said correct? So four remain."
"Though I have reduced their size I can not change what they are... They are still the same as before." he pointed out as the other veggies finished shrinking. "Will that not make it hard, what you plan to do?"
"It will be a challenge," Fool agreed as the tomato he was working with tried to squirm away from him. Fool retaliated by tossing the tomato up higher and then almost letting it splatter to the floor before diving down and catching it.
