Well... he could try that anyway, and he probably could have done such a thing with a snap of his fingers. It wasn't too hard, considering he his magic was one made for killing as many people as possible in as little time as possible. As it may, there were two problems. One, he had no idea what this person looked like and that helped, and two, the cuffs.

Those damn cuffs were keeping him at bay of his true potential. Though he had a feeling without them everyone in this whole compound would be dead, not from him alone, but from the other psychopaths he happened to see running around along with him.

To put it plainly, Fye had nothing and was glad Zuko didn't really want anything as payment. And besides, it would be good practice for when the prince did decide to teach the Avatar wouldn't it?

"You're welcome," he replied easily. And he paused to watch Zuko with slight interest before continuing to reply to him. "Anytime you'd like. You are the teacher after all; and I have nothing to do here so I am always ready to get up and do something that would provide a bit of excitement."

Zuko couldn't help but feel a bit better all of a sudden about being stuck within the compound. This boy wasn't Aang, but he was eager to learn and the Fire Prince was eager to teach. He never thought of himself as an instructor, but was unable to deny just how much he'd enjoyed it when he first started working with the Avatar back in his world world. He'd barely gotten the chance to work with Aang when the boy had been here and there was only so much he could show Sailor Mars that she didn't already know.

"We can start next week, if that's okay with you."

Yes, he an official teacher again, wasn't he?

"The term we use back home is Sifu when referring to one's bending instructor," he told him and it suddenly occurred to him that he had not yet gotten the other boy's name. "You know what to call me, but I don't know what to call you."

"Sifu? Like Sifu-Zuko or just Sifu?" Just to clear that little bit up. He had heard that "-san" after a name was a way to address someone, along with sensei. He thought it would make sense to ask in any case, wouldn't want to offend his teacher before his very first lesson!

And Fye couldn't help but laugh a bit. Sifu kinda looked and sounded like "seafood." Unless he was saying it wrong? Oh dear...

"My name?" Fye blinked before a smirk crossed his face. The kinda smirk when someone knew about an inside joke. "Well, my name is Fye; spelled F-Y-E. If you ever see me acting like a teenage girl, my name will be Fay; spelled F-A-Y." There, Zuko could figure out what he was trying to say from there.

"Either's fine," Zuko said with a shrug. As long as it wasn't Sifu Hotman, as the Avatar had insisted on calling him. Sages, he hated that century-old nickname from before his great-grandfather's reign. Firebenders had stopped accepting the nickname Hotman and using the term Flameo long before he was even born. Yet, Aang, someone who was technically from the era of Fire Lord Sozin, seemed to think it was still a popular thing to do. And it drove Zuko crazy.

Good thing there wasn't anyone around to call him that here. Not that he didn't already have a nice collection of nicknames, but he didn't mind Zu-Zu and Sparky so much anymore.

His lone eyebrow shot up at the notion that this Fye was both a boy and a girl. Had this been half a year ago, he would've been confused and demanded an explanation. It wasn't, though, and he was used to the quirks of this place by now and merely relaxed his expression and nodded. "Right. Fye."

Oh good. Then it would be Sifu Zuko. It just seemed more apporpriate. Would be fun to try and get him angry and call him fun names though... Meh, that wasn't his thing unfortunately.

Fye wasn't a girl persay. He was a male regardles of which personality he was, however, "Fay" was influenced most by the female cat parts while he himself was influenced by his past. Which made both "Fay" and "Fye" easy to distinguish. "Trust me, youll know when I am no longer Fye." His eyes would be blue for one thing.
