As always, Persephone was out at the park as soon as the sun rose, but she had stayed away from all of the setting up going on. She would have offered a hand, but she was an applicant after all and those poor burnt trees took precedence. They were doing much better these days, though, which pleased the goddess to no end, even if she hadn't been able to save a couple of them. It was the little victories that counted, though, she kept telling herself.

Once things looked like they were in order, the goddess, decked out in the training gi Robin had gotten for her rather than the usual robes, ambled her way over, fiddling with the seed pouch at her belt, nervousness twisting in her stomach. Persephone didn't expect much to come out of this other than to make a fool of herself, but if she tried, that was something, at the very least.

She can grow plants faster- Now where had LiveWire heard that before? He had a feeling that this was either going to be really really really bad or really good. He was trying not to have bias, not to be effected by what he knew. But the memories of chlorophyll kid was coming to mind.

That was probably the single handed worst audition he'd ever sat through. Now considering this was a different place and she was a god? Maybe this would be different. Maybe it would be the best display of .. Whatever it was he'll ever see. Ever.

He hoped so.

Thankfully, being a goddess gave Persephone a million more cool points. Besides, she had been practicing ever since she had signed up on the audition notice, working to bend the brambles to her will and getting the trees to wail on her opponents. With a small pang of sadness, she regretted that she wasn't more powerful at her current stage -- being able to turn someone's blood into flowers or into a tree would have been a cool thing to have in her arsenal for this thing

Brainy observed the flora erupting from the ground, a tweak of his features was all the clue she had to his impression of her. He gazed on her with his robotic eyes, indifferent, studying her, analyzing her. "You're fine." Brainy said.

"Persephone, was it? If you'd like to give a demonstration of your powers? How you can use it in combat or to counter act the Entropi or the more nefarious residents of Econtra?"

That gaze of Brainy's was pretty creepy, Persephone still getting used to the whole technology thing (though she mostly ignored it), especially in people (which she couldn't ignore at all). Puffing up a little, the flowers around her doing the same, she responded, "I'm a goddess. What can't I do

Persephone had improved so much recently! She had obviously been practicing on her own, and the teen was glad she seemed to be getting the hang of using her plant abilities offensively.

While the attack had been a little off-seeing her small wince had confirmed it was a blunder-a swell of pride grew in his chest. "Impressive." He said, his voice professional, but the expression on his face giving the real emotion behind the words.

Despite the tree sending her very, very angry mental images, Persephone's smile grew wider, though she tried to hide it, trying to keep just as professional. "Thank you! Anything else I should..?"

"Nah, you did fine. We'll definitely talk about it, Persephone. Thanks for auditioning." He spoke with enthusiasm, but like his teammates, he just wasn't sure what he was looking at there. In the long run, he could imagine practical applications but, okay, she threw a disk at a tree.. definitely talking about it.
