Summary:
After much plotting and double-plotting; Kunzite, Mercury, and the senshi Sailormars were able to defeat the princess Sailormars and damage her ginzuishou. Now the guilt is setting in a little for Mercury. Kunzite is here to...help himself her?
She opened her mouth to say something to the senshi Mars...and found herself in her room. Mercury's lips clamped shut as she turned around to give Kunzite an angry look. It was hardly the first time he'd done that - versions of him had done that - taking her away just as she was beginning to puzzle something out, interfering just as she was trying to think.
The anger didn't last. The blue-haired girl was too preoccupied by that strange feeling of wrongness. It faded to a quieter, distant expression.
Mercury started to walk away. She had no particular desire to have to defend herself for this feeling, whatever it was, when she had still done everything the situation had required. She had not let it make her hesitate. She had followed through. The ginzuishou was damaged if not destroyed, the girl who owned it had been immobile. Immobile. That face she'd seen animated in smiles (When? When? Memory, or wish?). Mercury stopped before she'd gone very far, but didn't turn back around.
