Dick sat on the roof of Apartment two, his suit on--having became common place in what he wore in his life now. Robin had seemed very adamant about talking to him, and he had his hunches as to why. Spotting the young Titan he smiled and made it so Robin could sit in front of him properly.

Robin managed a very thin, unconvincing smile as he took Nightwing's invitation, and joined him on the roof. All the carefully thought out sentences in his head had vanished, and all he was left with was the urge to flee and a vague sense of nausea. Neither of which were helping.

"Thanks," he said. "For this. I -- it's important."

" No Prob..Important huh? What's up kiddo" Dick replied Raising an eyebrow under his mask. There was something up with the little Robin--though he couldn't put his finger on it. What was he saying? Something had been up with the teen ever since he started dating Tinya--Could that be it? It wasn't so hard to believe he could get a date was it? Maybe the kid just found it weird to see his future self dating.

Robin took a deep breath. This was a lot harder than he thought it would be. He'd done some difficult things in his life -- saved the life of his parent's killer. Faced crowds of thousands. Risked his life. Faced some of the world's worst villains. But this -- this was difficult.

"Um. I've been thinking about stuff lately and um." It wasn't like him to fumble over words, and Robin winced, hating his own awarkwardness. Better to just do this quickly. "How old were you when you first had sex?"

Tim had followed Robin to the roof, curious about what the younger Robin had wanted to talk to Dick about. Really none of his business, but--well, no one had ever accused him of knowing when to butt out.

Then he heard Robin's question, and was grateful for the choking noises Dick made--because they masked his own. This was... really not something he needed to know at all, and why exactly had he followed Robin up here?

Robin wasn't sure what to make of Dick's reaction. Had it been that bad an experience? Nonplussed by it all, he failed to notice Tim's arrival.

Then he got his answer. "Seventeen," he said with a frown -- that was two, three years away. A long time in econtra where people could vanish totally in a matter of days. "How did you know you wanted to ... ?"

Dick gave robin a wry smile, this was going to an interesting conversation." With liu...it was..sexual attraction...and I guess Emotional too..but Starfire" Sighing Dick thought deeply trying to find the right words and advice" that was love..maybe not The love but love"

"Still no matter what You should wait till you're older, I screwed myself over thinking that sex was just that..sex.. because of Liu and..I don't want that happening to you" Dick forced himself to open up for Robin's sake, this was something only he could tell the teen and he knew that.

Tim felt his face heat as Dick continued talking. There was so much he didn't need to know about his big brother's sex life as a teenager. And of course, he couldn't leave. Not without being incredibly obvious.

He wondered idly what Dick's advice would have been about Steph--they'd been together for two years. The subject had come up, but... it had never seemed... right. So they hadn't. Mostly Tim's decision.
