Characters: AU Manjoume Jun, open~
Where: out in the back corner of the Park, somewhere close to where the Obex forms a corner
When: during the Truth Plot, some time in the afternoon
Summary: When simply not thinking about certain things doesn't work, Manjoume usually deals with bad memories by convincing himself that their significance or origins are something other than what they really are. Unfortunately, he can't exactly do that right now. But if you poke him, you might learn some things about his universe that he wouldn't want to talk about otherwise.
Warnings: Manjoume is in a rather unstable mood, with the inability to chain back the bad memories that just so happen to be plaguing him today. Therefore, expect angst, lashing out, and/or pouring his heart out accidentally... and that third one would probably lead to one or both of the other two, actually. Besides that, it really just depends on who shows up. ^^
He was sitting curled up on the ground, his knees folded to his chest, his head resting between his legs as he gritted his teeth and tried to get the memories to go away. Why did they have to strike now, damn it? Just because he did remember the exact moment in which he had tossed the Ojamas to the wind, how their voices had just... muted as soon as they left his hand... Just because he did remember didn't mean it was something he wanted to think about, ever. And yet the more he tried to not think about it, the more the memory insisted on coming to the top.
Usually, it wouldn't be this bad, because he would simply reassure himself that he was certain that the Ojamas never needed him in the first place and that they were better off without him, and he would go on with his life. But unfortunately, that was technically convincing himself of a lie (because, quite frankly, how could he be certain they were in better hands? He'd found two of them in a well.), and somehow he couldn't bring himself to do it. Not even to himself.
Magic was rather annoying.
Next to him sat about half a deck's worth of Duel Monsters cards, all of them support for the Ojama Trio. He still had them, even without the aforementioned trio that they were designed to actually be useful for - he'd made the (rather unwise in retrospect) decision to look them over, which was why he was having this particular problem today.
