The Shinrabanshou was bored of sitting around and had decided to go out for a little walk. There were new people about and some of them might even be interesting to talk to. It found Vada near the church and decided that she would be better conversation than none.

"This one is a bit run down, Vada. More than a bit, actually. Got a bit more destroyed not too long ago. Two people decided to take their annoyance out on the building and it got rather... trashed." The Shinrabanshou had floated up behind her, feet not touching the ground and thus making no noise.

Vada...How had this thing known her name? Turning around to face it, Vada clenched her teeth and balled her hands into fists at her side. "I don't recall ever telling anyone my name here, or meeting you whatever you are." sneering a little, she looked the Shinrabanshou over with some distain. "I don't really care who or what happened to this place, anyway. I just need to find a roof to put over my head for the night before I leave this dump," turning away, she began to walk towards the cemetery.

The Shinrabanshou smiled a bit. So it had finally found someone who it could piss off with just a few words. How fun. "You won't find any place to stay over there. You'll be assigned a room to stay in within a day or two, and that's where you'll stay. As for your name..." it laughed a bit. "I took it from your mind. We've never met before. You're a new arrival after all."

"Yeah, got it. You're some freakish android, aren't you. Programed to find all the X-5's and harass us?" unconsciously, she reached to the back of her neck and flattened her hand against her bar code...as if covering it would make it disappear. "Yes, I am new. What the fuck do you care?" turning back around, Vada began to walk away, while she imagined herself beating this thing to a pulp.

The Shinrabanshou gave Vada what could best be described as a bored look. "I think that's a first. Being called an android." It gave a small laugh and glided after Vada. "It would mean that you don't know any of the rules here." Catching up, it flipped upside down, hovering in midair with it's face still at the same level as Vada's. "For example, you can't use violence here. You'd get cuffed and then sedated."

Vada gave the Shinrabanshou a blank stare. Having he brain invaded again was slightly irritating. Sure, she was used to not being able to have her own thoughts in Manticore but here...this thing was just plan annoying. "Whatever, dude. Sedation is nothing compared to the seizures and being fucking tasered. Now screw off." Continuing on her way, Vada was determined to try and ignore it.

The Shinrabanshou kept up with her, still upside down. "Seizures and being tasered... I really wonder what your history looks like. Mind if I have a look through your memories?" Always nice to ask... even if the answer probably wouldn't matter.

Vada quirked a semi-sarcastic smile at him, (was it a him?) and bowed. "Be my guest. I'm sure you'll find lots of useful information in them to try and throw back in my face." crossing her arms over her chest, Vada waited to see what would happen.

The Shinrabanshou gave a quick scan through the memories, but nothing really stood out as exceptional to it. It gave an upside down shrug. "Nothing that special actually. Mostly just curiosity really. Oh... But I'm an it, more than a him. If you have to assign a gender, I'd be female. But I'm really more of an it."

"Whatever," Vada shrugged and began to walk away again. The Shinrabanshou was boring her, and she didn't really want to waste time on...him. She really just wanted to push its buttons now, and was going to have fun with it.

It kept up with her, and flipped back upright, thinking. So the girl wanted to try and annoy it. Well, she was about to see how just how poorly that worked when it could read her mind. "Say, I bet you're one of those magic nonbelievers, aren't you?"

"Sure, whatever. Magic defies logic, so I was taught not to believe in it." she shrugged and continued on her way.

The Shinrabanshou grinned and with a flick of one finger caused a wisteria branch to grow up out of the ground and wind it's way around one of Vada's wrists.

Vada gasped, and scowled. "What the fuck was that for?" she turned to him, (yeah she was still determined to be a brat about it) and glowered.

The Shinrabanshou grinned a bit more and flicked it's finger again, causing the vine to grow up her arm well past the elbow. "Just proving magic."

Vada just stared blankly at this thing. Really, she had no time for games, and couldn't give a damn if magic was real. Glancing down at the vine, she looked back at the Shinrabanshou. "You have me convinced, happy?" really all she wanted was to get the heck out of there.
