Ssil opened the door, frowning. "You musst be Dib. Why in God'ss name are you calling me that?"

Despite being about the normal size for a human of her age (around fourteen), Ssil could certainly be intimidating. A tail with a large club on the end of it tended to have that effect.

He yelped when the door opened and jumped back, shielding himself with his arms as he stared at the alien. "Uh... because you are?" he suggested, lowering his arms a little bit. "Don't attack me! You'll be sorry!"

Yeah, that was a good start. He'd have this alien captured and in a lab in no time.

Ssil sighed. She was beginning to understand how he managed to see Zim as a threat. "I wass more interessted in why you were calling me 'sscum'. I know I'm an alien, that'ss not the point. And I'm not going to attack you." She considered this statement. "Well, not unlesss you attack me firsst," she amended.

Ssil had spent her whole life up to a few years ago in a lab - or as close to a lab as a drafty building in nineteenth-century London could get. She wasn't going to be pleased when she found out Dib's plans.

"Oh." He dropped his arms to his sides, glanced down at the floor, and then back up at Ssil. "So... you're not trying to take over the world?" That put a bit of a crimp in his plans, actually.

If she wasn't a threat, then forget capturing her and studying her - he'd just take notes, and pictures, and set up cameras to observe her.... Except, he remembered with disappointment, his camera and computer had both powered down during the trip between dimensions, and he hadn't found a way to recharge either just yet.
