[Thread] Warden's Orientation [ALL]

The arena area is large and open, with a floor made of a hard, rubber-like substance. There are no windows, only a high ceiling and wide doors which admit those who have been ordered here. People file in, one or two at a time, first a dozen and then another until all of those who have been abandoned in this place are present. At the far end of the ( Read more... )

Sir, upon my arrival, you might recall that I addressed a letter to you. It is a relief that you appear to seek our willing cooperation.

I have two immediate questions.

First of all, did you receive and read my letter?

Secondly, what is your response? In other words, how can we meet to discuss these important issues with you on a regular basis?

Thank you.

"All communication that is directed through the Indigeo is monitored, yes."

"Due to the nature of those residing here, it is not feasible to address each specific concern. That is the reason this orientation has been called, and why most things will continue to be handled through the Indigeo, such as requisitions. It is not our intention to keep you 'in the dark' yet I'm sure all here are familiar with the phrase, 'need to know'."

I am familiar with the phrase "need to know", but am uncomfortable when one (namely yourself) of two parties (yourself and us, the recruits) in a dialog is the sole judge of who gets to know what...

You said that "due to the nature of those residing here, it is not feasible to address each specific concern".

Am I correct in interpreting this to mean that you are simply too busy to personally handle a landslide of questions and demands from a very diverse group?

"The Indigeo is more than capable of meeting your basic needs as far as information and requisitions are concerned. Again, I remind you that while I am in charge of the Econtra compound, I do not control either the Indigeo or the Consulo."

Ah, thank you.

I have one final question on this matter.

I have seen others use the Indigeo "items" requisitions process, so I understand how that works. However, can you explain the Indigeo "information requisitions" process?

Thanks again.

"At the moment, there is no information available other than what I am willing to tell you at the moment. But the Entropi, with each of their attacks, bring us new information. In time, that will be made available through your training processes."
