Kragok stood just out of her line of sight. How delicious. He tossed the pie lightly in his normal arm, before calling out to the goddess. "Ghost! Over here!" he shouted, glee in his heart. He couldn't believe she was so easy to fool, so simple-minded and arrogant. He found himself disappointed. His first encounter with a goddess and she's nothing more than a grumpy child, angry at not having attention paid to it. Well, this would cheer her up.

"Heads up!" he concluded, flinging the pie as hard as he could.

Oh, this was going to be rich.

The goddess whipped around to face her adversary, grinning in triumph until -- ARGH! WHAT WAS THAT?

Persephone wiped at the goo covering her face and the front of her robes, mouth hanging open in surprised. What sort of trickery was this and what the hell was this covering her? It tasted like a dessert of some kind and argh why throw it?!

With a snarl, she rounded on Kragok, eyes narrow slits and hands balled at her sides. "You little -- !"

"Hey, Persephone," Kragok said, gloating, "truth or dare?"

That had been far easier than anticipated.

Trying quickly to regain her composure, Persephone smacked some of the custard from her face, barring her teeth in a feral grin and tossing her hair. "Dare."

"Good. Here we go, then, Persephone. Accept it as words of advice from one who is older than you can ever hope to be. Stop acting like a damn child! Maybe you're a big goddess back home in your world. I couldn't care less. Maybe if you shut the Chaos up and realized just how petty and petulant you really are, then my words wouldn't have stung nearly so bad. As it is, you realize you're a brat, you know my words are true, and so you seek to silence truths you'd rather not face in the only way your childish brain can. By silencing me." Kragok frowned and continued to lock his gaze with the youthful goddess, now holding another pie in his hand.

"I dare you to grow up and stop being such a stupid, petulant brat," he said, pointing his claw at the girl. "You want to fight me? Fine. But I guarantee you'll lose."

It took a while for the goddess to speak, so angered at his words. How dare he speak to her in such a manner. Unclenching one of her hands, she waved her fingers over the pavement, more weeds poking through and twirling themselves upwards slowly like a snake ready to strike. Persephone could feel the cuff pricking at her wrist, but she paid it no attention. "Say that again."

"Grow. Up," Kragok said, enunciating very clearly. He set the pie down adn crossed his arms, glaring at Persephone. "You're pathetic, Persephone. A waste of time. There's no glory or honor in fighting you, and there's certainly nothing worthwhile an infant like yourself has to offer me. Are we through here?" He stood calm, relaxed. He had no murderous thoughts on his mind, while Persephone was no doubt feeling the cuff's sting. If she attacked, he anticipated the pain from her cuff would be enough of an advantage for him to avoid her. And the sedative backup was always an option.

"No Legionnaire worships you, Persephone, nor do we owe you any homage or reverence. You're just another brat to me."

"We are not through! By the gods, I'll have your head before the day is through!" The weeds by her hand juddered, shrinking and recoiling as a look of barely suppressed pain passed over the girl's face. That shock hurt and she knew it wasn't going to get any better, remembering what she had been told about them when she first arrived. As long as she wasn't sedated, though...

"I am worshiped and loved in my world; the earth wept and died when I disappeared, I am needed that much."

"Here you stand, Persephone. The earth is still ashen and dead. Care to rethink your inflated sense of self-worth?" Kragok was growing sick of this child, now almost wanting to beat sense into her.

Oh good. Maybe she would get an actual fight, then. Flustered, it was all she could to choke the words out. "It takes time!"

Kragok's eyelids drooped. His expression seemed bored, and he didn't seem to be taking any sort of defensive stance at all. "Hmm. And how long have you been here?"

"I --" It took her a moment, so much had happened in that time. "Ten days." The plants had pretty much drooped by this point as the goddess bit her lip, anger ebbing away as doubt set in.

"Nearly two weeks, Persephone," Kragok clarified. "Is it starting to dawn on you now?" He was used to dealing with idiocy, but this was just arrogance on a level that disgusted even him.

The girl shrank a little with an internal wince, plants completely retreating back into the soil by this point. "I am a goddess..." It was the only thing she could think to say, having lost the words for anything else.

"You are a child. An impudent child who thinks too grandly of herself," the grandmaster said. Kragok was still being harsh, but not near as much as he had been.

"Learn to grow up, or whatever these Entropi are, they will kill you." He sighed and shook his head. Children. This one seemed especially bad.

"You can't kill a god," Persephone retorted with little to no confidence at all, speaking lies. Of course gods could be killed, it was just a little harder to do so at times, but if she could at least fool herself into thinking that, for just a while longer...
