[Thread] Never too many cream puffs

Summary: Ryou was bored. Bored Ryou bakes...a lot. So now there's more than enough to share.

Sakura had been told to be careful and avoid all the males in the compound but they hadn't told her for how long (not to mention exactly why). It had been over a week and the Princess grew restless just sitting around uselessly with no one to talk to so she had decided to chance it and go out. Perhaps drawn by the sweet smell of freshly baked cakes - or something similar - Sakura came to a stop before Vri-Ennea.

Curiosity won out in the end, "Hello?" She called uncertainly opening the door a little.

Ryou looked up from his tea cup and smiled when he spotted the young girl looking into the apartment. "Hello!" He answered back happily. "Did you come over to some sweets?"

Seated on the couch, Alex's nose twitched while playing a quiet tune from Burg. The scent of the cream puffs were tempting indeed to someone who'd had a light lunch. Thus it was only seconds later when his melody struck a note much lower than it was supposed to be. This was closely followed by the rumble of his stomach. No two ways about it, he was hungry.

His sheepish grin went across the room. "Well, couldn't hold out forever. May I...join you?"

Not to be rude Ryou did his best not to laugh when he heard Alex's stomach growl and he smiled brightly at Alex's question. "Of course Alex-san, I couldn't eat this all on my own though part of me would like to try." He blushed slightly, his sweet tooth always did get the best of him. "Would you like some tea as well?"

Whenever Ryou's face brightened like that, Alex could never quite look upon him fully. It was similar but not the same to whenever he hung out with Quatre. Still, his own smile mirrored the other boy's. "Oh I'd love that. I'll have it the same way as yours please."

Alex wasn't used to being waited on, so to return Ryou's generosity he cleared out the table to make room for two. Then he used a pair of tongs to pick up the still hot cream puffs and place once each on two plates. His eyes closed in pleasure as he got one good whiff of the treats' scent, at point blank range.

Alex just about had the puffs ready when a rap on the door drew his attention. "Coming!" He replaced the tongs and laid the plates out then slid to a stop beside the entrance. He pulled the door open...and next thing Quatre knew, his "kid brother" had pounced like a cat into his arms.

"Bro! Am I glad to see you! It's been so long." he said, squeezing the older boy tight around the arms.

The Lunarian's gaze upon the blond pilot was filled with gladness that he'd remember his request, and gratitude that he'd deigned to drop by for it. "You bet. If you've got anyone to thank for that aroma right now, it's him." Still holding Quatre's arm, he directed his voice towards the kitchen counter. "Hey, Ryou! Company!"
