Ah yes, and there was the last one he'd been looking for. Everything was all coming together so nicely. Especially given that this last hedgehog was apparently having a rather exciting nap, given the delightful sounds he was making.

Dumping him into the water would have to come another day. Even if Sonic probably looked even more attractive when wet. ... Hm, but it was an enticing thought - should he need to, he could use it. Drop Sonic in, then save him only if Sonic agreed to his demands. It probably wouldn't work, of course. Sonic was a feisty little thing. That was one of the reasons Shadow liked him so much.

Shadow stood over him, arms crossed, watching him with great enjoyment. But he could only stand and watch for so long. The temptation to intervene was much too great.

"Enjoying yourself, hedgehog~?" He chuckled softly, nudging him with the toe of his shoe.

Lost in his thoughts...lost in his fantasies, Sonic was unaware of a certain black hedgehog that had come into the area. Not until a soft chuckle broke the silence and his own dreams. A nudge from the toe of his unique shoes slowly bringing Sonic back into reality. When he looked up, still a shade of red across his cheeks, he saw an amused Shadow. This was different... But hey, at least it was Shadow. The last thing he would do is humor the thought with someone as 'lowly' as him, right?

...

Right?

"Dude, this love potion stuff is too weird for it's own good. How're you holding up?" Sitting up, he didn't bother to stand to meet Shadow's eye level just yet.

Ah, so unsuspecting. That probably wouldn't last too long - Shadow wasn't feeling terribly subtle right now. Just subtle enough to keep him from staring blatantly at the other hedgehog's crotch, but that didn't really say much for his eyes definitely looked him up and down as he moved.

"Better than you, it seems." It was sort of a shame he'd gotten up, but that didn't mean Shadow couldn't entertain thoughts of the blue one writhing beneath him on the sand of the shore. He would keep those thoughts to himself for now.

Sonic hadn't gained any serious suspicions just yet. When the dark hedgehog answered as he usually would, that actually made him sigh in relief. Standing up, he was suckered into a trap. Shadow seemed normal enough. Maybe it was because of his nature as the Ultimate Life Form. Was he immune? He couldn't tell. Maybe it was best that he checked.

If he was corrected? Well... He didn't humor thoughts about him, did he?! Okay, now he was scared just a teensy bit. But he didn't show it.

"Glad to know you're still sane, buddy." Sonic met his crimson eyes with his own emerald-hued gaze, smiling in relief; deep down he continued to pray that he wasn't about to be proven wrong. Although the thought of an arounsed Shadow was funny.

Hello blackmail!!!

Those eyes caught him harder than he'd expected, and his lips parted for just a moment before he recovered. The desire to step forward and wrap himself around the other hedgehog intensified, but he held back, instead regarding him with a small smirk. It wouldn't do to scare the poor thing away so soon. Not when he hadn't had a chance for some fun yet.

"You expected less from me? Hmm, tell me, what were you dreaming about~?" It wasn't exactly a question that needed an answer, and Shadow certainly didn't expect one. But tormenting his rival was always enjoyable, and if it brought a blush to his cheeks, all the better.

And then he just had to ask that question. Sonic could lie, but there wasn't anything he could hide from Shadow. Not in this situation. ... Was that a blush creeping up to his cheeks? Of course it wasn't.

... Yeah, it was.

"Well, I, uh..." Defeated. "What else?"

The magical fog, and the powerful aphrodisiac it carried, had done a number on Shadow. His will to resist had crumbled early on, largely thanks to Rouge. He found himself not minding very much, however, preferring to enjoy the ride. And yes, both meanings of the phrase were applicable.

Sonic's blush was now tugging away at what little resistance he did have - although in this situation, the resistance he put up was more of a 'now or later?' sort, as to how long he would play with his prey before moving in closer.

Shadow stepped forward, moving awfully close to the other hedgehog and slightly to his side, smirk still in place. Regarding him at an angle, now, he murmured, "Is that so..."

That blush was too perfect, and he wanted to see it spread. Shadow slowly reached a few fingers forward to caress Sonic's cheek gently, letting his eyelids slip downward halfway.

"It could get better than just dreams, hedgehog."

The second that Shadow began to move awfully close to him, his heart began to race. Not in any way caused by the magical fog, but just for becoming nervous. Lust in his dreams became a fear that...

"It could get better than just dreams, hedgehog."

His eyes widened in shock. Sheer shock. Shadow the Hedgehog. The Ultimate Life Form. One of his most deadliest rivals. Uncaring and a total grump. He wasn't a homophobe or anything, but the revelation just kicked him hard. Shadow was BISEXUAL? If he wasn't so surprised, he might have laughed. Loudly. And without mercy. This was just PERFECT!!! But he had more important things in mind. Like getting the black hedgehog off his case. This wasn't cool. Taking a step back and waving a finger in front of his face as if taunting him, Sonic took a more cautious stance. Who would have thought?

"Woahwoahwoah, hold on there, cowboy. You're not in my dreams."

Hmm, not an ideal reaction. Far from it. At least if he'd tried to take off running, Shadow could've gone after him, to try and catch him. It would've been a challenge for a little while, maybe. He could let him run and run and wear himself down, or if he was feeling particularly impatient he could end the chase by stopping time. But no, he was being denied outright, and that wasn't acceptable.

Narrowing his eyes slightly, Shadow stared intently at his rival. The usual cold glare had a different quality to it, as his eyes reflected the intense desire he felt at the sight of the blue hedgehog. Sonic would be his, one way or another, he was sure of it. For when Shadow had something he wanted, he stopped at nothing to get it.

"Well then, shall I change that for you?" Said huskily, it was more of a threat than an offer.

That intense glare startled Sonic. But provoked a deep frown to mar his lips. This was going to turn into a race...he knew it. If he had to, he'd outrun and try to outsmart the Ultimate Life Form. It seemed like he was the only one who could match him anyways. Shadow may have thought that Sonic would be his in his unstoppable act of lust, but Sonic had other plans. For that moment, the true blue blur had returned in full circle. And he did something...with a devious thought that could possibly surprise the Ultimate Life Form...that was only the first step in his plans. The cunning that was enhanced by his newfound lust. Just not for the dark rival.

So long, lake. Leaning in closer, his lips were only centimeters away from his, Sonic was gonna at least have fun with his new mission. But his intentions were anything but. With a soft sigh, his eyelids slipping halfway like Shadow's, he smiled seductively before a soft whisper brushed against his lips.

"In your dreams," In a sudden flash of blue light, Sonic had disappeared. But not ( ... )

He should have seen that Sonic was planning something; it wasn't exactly like Sonic to tease him like that, after all. Well. Not by almost kissing him. But it was the ideal way to catch Shadow off-guard, for just he tried to lean in and capture those lips, he found himself hurtling backward instead. He hit the water with a splash.

Sputtering, and now very much frustrated and angry, Shadow made his way out of the water as quickly as he could, but Sonic was already off. Chasing him around would be a pain... but it would be fun, and oh so worthwhile. He took off in the direction Sonic had seemed to run off to, wind whipping through his quills. Soon, he was not only wet, but cold. But what kind of Ultimate Lifeform would he be if he couldn't stand a little drop in temperature ( ... )

Sonic hid around a corner of one of the buildings, waiting to see if Shadow would blaze by him or not. He would avoid him for as long as he could. He was breathing heavily, not from being tired, but from how exciting the chase was. He wasn't interested in Shadow or any kind of men at all. Of course when this was all over his perspective of the Ultimate Lifeform wasn't likely to change.

Once everything was back to normal...

He waited. To see what would happen. He was hiding the shadows for now. And if he found him and his capture was inevitable? He had a trusty little gem that got him out of the first jam.

Caught up in his thoughts, Shadow did indeed run right past. He wasn't completely unobservant, just trying to come up with a solution to this little bit of trouble. So it was a bit late that he skidded hard against the concrete and then doubled back, realizing suddenly what he'd seen.

But then he had a better idea. Especially one that might work if Sonic had seen him turn back. In a flash of blue, he vanished, reappearing behind Sonic, and attempted to tackle him to the ground.

It was kind of scary. But it was also just another thrill. Sonic thought of this like trying avoid some monster who was gonna get him if he got caught. And Shadow was one hell of a monster. He saw that the Ultimate Lifeform blazed by and he tried to run out into the open and run the opposite direction.

Unfortunately... Sonic had forgotten about Chaos Control on his rival's part. And so he was tackled to the ground. Hard. And he struggled and squirmed too. With a growl of frustration, he tried to overpower Shadow, but it was proving to be rather...difficult.

"S-snap out of it, Shadow!! You're stronger than this!"

bowyourheadslow June 4 2008, 09:20:10 UTC
Oh, that was so much better. Shadow kept a tight hold on him, to try and prevent Sonic from bolting. And with him holding on like this, a Chaos Control would be useless as a means of escape.

"Gotcha~" he growled softly into an ear. "Hmm, stronger than you, too, of course." The squirming beneath him was so much like what he'd imagined. He'd never expected Sonic to agree immediately, anyway. But soon, he would understand, surely. He just had to be a bit better prepared.

And so, keeping one hand firmly clamped onto Sonic's shoulder, and pinning him with the rest of his body, Shadow leaned forward to nibble at the tip of Sonic's ear, and stroke the fingers of his other hand down a blue-furred side.

Shadow was right. With the blue hedgehog pinned in such a manner...there was no escaping via means of Chaos Control. To be frank, the blue hedgehog couldn't close his eyes and pretend that this was somebody else all over him. He just couldn't. And that bit the big one. Hard.

He wanted to cry out for help, but Sonic wasn't the kind of person to do that. He always wanted to save himself...or someone would just randomly come along and save the day anyways. A shiver ran down Sonic's spine when he felt his fingers stroke along his blue-furred side, his fangs nibbling on the tip of his ear. He stiffled a groan from the attention he was given. In his condition, he may have been writhing beneath a dominating black hedgehog, but his mind only continued to scream of escaping. With a ferocious growl, Sonic gave off a tone of extreme warning and anger.

"Back. Off!" Unfortunately for Shadow, Sonic did not feel like waiting anymore. With as much strength as he could muster, he broke free from being pinned down so firmly. Any momentum was all that ( ... )
