Characters: OU: Mrs. Lovett, OU: Sweeney Todd Where: Dor-Eski When: During potion explosion Summary: ...do we really need a summary at this point? (Lovett's coming when Todd calls her. End) Warnings: Insane!Todd, FTB, etc.
What was happening? He was still seeing random things, hearing voices mocking him, but a specific hunger ripped away at him due to the smoke he inhaled. Lucy must have been dead, he saw her with the angels in heaven. There was none other to tend to these..needs..all males have at one time or another.
He heard the door open, Sweeney stopped his pacing and turned to face her. The man's breath escaped in hoarse rasps, chest rising and falling. This goddamn thing started not too long ago, instantly notifying the baker once he unknowingly inhaled the mist.
Sweeney walked over to her, steps quickening, echoing in the room. He approached, raising his hand. What he attempted to do was lay his hand against her throat and force her roughly against the wall, ala-Epiphany.
A cracked smile formed on his face, voices laughing in his head, obvious what he was after.
Lovett recognized the predatory look and instantly panicked. Had Todd been in any other state than the one he had been in during the past few days, she might've kept her cool. This situation was not one she'd been prepared for...so when his hand came to her throat and she was forced against the wall, her eyes went wide and she instantly struggled lightly against the hand on her throat, wrestling with her own will and her fear.
After all...she wasn't one to stop Todd from doing anything. This sudden fear took a hold of her and caused slight resistance, leaving her tense and staring into Todd's eyes, where that familiar look was still affixed.
How was she going to get out of this one?
"Mr. Todd, what on Earth has gotten into you?!" Her voice started out demanding, but quickly faded into something more submissive, fearful, and uncertain.
He made eye contact with her, no damn patience at all. No, not now, not with this odd love potion he inhaled running through his blood, turning it into fire. His heart raced, leaping at his throat, gazing at her with a ferocious gleam. He knew what he was after..and he wanted it..now, never feeling like this before.
Voices sounded through his head, hissing at them to dispel, turning his head to the side. He managed to mutter out a strained ,"I don't know.." he struggled to explain ,"There was a smog..filled the room."
Between the occasional voices and pure desire..he could hardly think.
Sweeney pressed himself against her for a moment, then he slipped to grip onto her shoulders, attempting to 'gently' push her onto the floor. How thoughtful, he made sure it wouldn't hurt badly when she hit it on her back.
A smog? No, no, no she couldn't let him! As much as she wanted Todd near her, as badly as she had tried to get him to see how much better she was than Lucy, she couldn't let him lose his head under the effects of some spell. Not only would he hate himself at the end, but more than likely, he'd blame the entire thing on her. So, when he tried to grab her shoulders, her hands shot up to grab his wrists instead, holding them tightly and trying to keep him from pushing her anywhere.
"Mr. Todd, l-let's think about this, shall we?" Lovett suggested a bit timidly, trying to inch away from the wall and into open room. The fact that he was so close and so willing made each movement very difficult for her.
Rage formed in his eyes, growling ,"I am thinking about this." refusing to let her inch away from him, hopefully forcing her back against the wall even as she held onto his wrists. She was getting him increasingly frustrated, voices in his head turning violent. My god, it was almost painful, waiting, watching her with these thoughts swirling in his head. Due to the spell he was extremely riled, and wouldn't take hesitation for a damn answer. Sweeney spoke again, finally trying to wrench his wrists from the baker's grip strongly.
He may not be as powerful as many here, but he still was stronger than her, viciously trying to break the hold she had. Todd spoke while trying to free himself ,"Listen to me." he commanded, voice dark, not being subtle one bit.
Lovett hung on like a koala, being jerking around a bit when he tried to wrench himself free. Only after she was forced to the wall again did she finally lose her grip, shrinking a bit and staring up at him with obvious fear in her eyes. So fearful, she was, that her very pupils appeared to be quivering. She had just defied Todd, what kind of person was she?!
And she was still defying him, ducking under one of his arms to get away again, gently moving her hand in what could've been seen as a calming gesture. "It's a spell, are you sure you're thinking, love...?" It wasn't like she didn't want what he had to offer...quite the contrary. It was merely a matter of what would happen afterward.
Fear? Yes, she was afraid. He could see that, one of the only people he considered human in this place. When she said spell he paused, looking like he tried to consider what she said. Yes, the smog. He inhaled it, just after he did so he felt this.
Did the demons cast this on him? No, no. He didn't care. He needed to get rid of the nearly painful lust he felt. He needed release, that among all else, just like hunger, just like thirst. Sweeney craved it. He spoke ,"I am thinking." still angry with her about her hesitation. Was he..really thinking? Nah, he was only thinking about getting what he needed, what he wanted
( ... )
Lovett had been about to reason with him after he had spoken, but instead crumbled when he made his next move, her knees nearly buckling under the pressure. The baker held onto the barber for support, her own breath catching in her throat, completely forgetting that she was supposed to be calming him down. For but a brief moment, her fear disappeared and she let him bend her to his will, a bit disoriented from the sudden move he had made on her.
It's fine Her thoughts tried to justify her going along with what was about to occur. If he wanted something else, he'd say so. Go with what he's asking for.
The fact that they shared the room with others didn't really dawn on her. In fact, nothing really dawned on her except for the fact that Todd was in the room with her and she had just been seduced and dragged to the floor. Not a difficult task for Sweeney of course.
Thankfully, there was a door, which she had made sure to shut upon entering the room in the first place.
