[Storm Plot] On The Mend
Characters: ALL + Warden-kun
Where: Various places in the compound, beginning with the Mess Hall
When: During the Hallowe'en plot
Summary: The Warden finally gets around to fixing the place up, and the residents get to see a little of Warden-kun's special touch. *wink*
Warnings: None?
Notes: Warden isn't going to respond to too many people, mostly because Ankhi works the next like... 6 days... and won't have time. But the characters can watch and discuss what's happening. I will post new comments whenever he moves to a new location, feel free to tag along.
He had concluded his examination of the damage to the compound. Each dorm, each building, each foundation he had checked with the same studious intent, ignoring the residents as they watched him criss-cross the compound from dawn to dusk. (He had also taken the time to examine the strange changes afflicting most of them, but filed that information away for later perusal.)
Having partially restored the Indigeo's function, at least the residents were no longer in danger of starvation. However they still needed a reliable source of food, and hence he stood in front of the Mess Hall with a serious look on his face.
At first, nothing.
Then, small pieces of debris began to shift on their own accord. One by one, they righted themselves; small pieces of wall, of ceiling, of interior. They twisted, turned, flipped, slid, and placed themselves like a giant Rubix cube gone mad. The Mess Hall began to take form from the ground up.
