I enjoyed last Sunday's Super Bowl.  I did.  It was an exciting game.

Then there was the halftime show with Brooce.  During which several things stood out for me:

• The slimy scripted feel of Bruce's clowning around, both at the beginning and later with Little Steven
• Black clothes with a big ol' medallion on a thong close up near his throat
• Bruce's suspiciously-ungraying hair (do the arithmetic, people)

And then it hit me.

Bruce Springsteen has turned into Tom Jones.

I'm going to go cry now.
