Oh, what a great movie --
sirrogue was absolutely right a few weeks ago in saying go, go now! Closest Princess Bride - substitute in years. I saw it with
knitress last night at a mall theatre, which was encouragingly packed. It's just absolutely charming.
How much fun are Several Big-Name Actors having in this thing? And how wonderful is Claire Danes? There's something about her that reminds me of Harrison Ford, oddly: a movie star who is really attractive but somehow not threatening to his/her own gender, so everybody can enjoy watching him/her. You know, how guys could easily imagine having a beer with Harrison. I can totally imagine sitting around feet curled up on couches with Claire. Jodie Foster always struck me this way, too, although she was never a much of an ingenue type as Danes.
Anyhow, if you like fantasy at all -- duh, flist -- go see it!
