With you moving, I'd not even bring it up, honestly. Wait until you're settled into the new house. She's only about a year old, right? You won't delay her training by not doing it now. We bought Evan a potty last week, at 18 months, and he played on it for 20 minutes, including dropping his pacifiers into the pot. We decided it was too early if he thought it was a storage spot for binkies. It's been tucked in a corner in the spare bedroom for a few months until he starts showing more signs of readiness.

What you might have better luck with is buying one and not opening it, and then taking it to the new place. Unpack it in her bathroom there, and say something like "wow! this house comes with a potty just for Accalia!" and leave it at that. Then it's something special but it's not a stress thing. Plus you won't have to rebox it and clean it to move it.

The What to Expect toddler book has a list of readiness signs. You might also want to check that and see how many Accalia is showing. That way if she's not showing any, or maybe one or two, you won't stress yourself with introducing the potty and then wondering why she's not even sitting on it or why it's on her head.
