is good day
my parking spot got plowed! this is exciting because it doesn't happen very often. silly me staying home so much. but i went out and about today and my spot got cleared. woohoo!
in other news, it's a book day today. while i was getting dressed to go to school, i was pleasantly surprised by the mail man with a package for me. my Folio books came in! and they're so pretty! they actually even sent me the extra free books that i didn't actually want. though at least one of those books will be amusing, so it's okay. the other didn't actually come yet; both it and History of Western Science are back ordered. i have no idea when they'll come. but so that was happy.
went to school. worked for a while. actually worked longer than i thought i would, but i got some population data that might provide me with graph worthy lines...and if they don't, the simulations i started today looked like they have potential to behave for once. anyway, picked up chapters that RK had edited (but avoided looking at them) and dropped off the last ones for him. joy!
after i left school, i ran some errands. picked up my new glasses and some supplies for finishing my LJ craft exchange gifts. and some other stuff. i was intending to go to the mall and Christmas shop, but i didn't make it to that area in time. just as well. it will probably be less busy if i go during the day tomorrow. i did go to the bookstore, though. "T" is for Trespass came out yesterday, and i wanted to pick that up. grabbed a couple of other books then had the realization that i basically have the next two weeks off. so i grabbed some more books. i got some Christmas presents for people, too. altogether, though, i had a little too much fun at the bookstore. even for me. : )
i'm going to go eat dinner now...'cuz i haven't done that yet. wheeeeeee!
