actually went to school today...and damnitall, i think i actually worked too. there goes my lazy streak. i even stayed longer than the two hours i planned on...good thing the weather was relatively warm today (-8°C). of course, i actually started my day before noon for once too. (and yet i'm still up now. there's something wrong with me.) desolatedrose and i went to the gym earlier, than we went and dropped off her car at her cousins and i took her downtown so she could go turn in an assignment before she went to the airport. poor thing is off to St. Lucia for the next week. how will she stand it? *turns a pale mint color*
so did the school thing. heck, i even changed the battery in Lydia's UPS. but more of my simulations have finished; twenty-eight out of a hundred are now done (i totally misremembered the number that had finished by last week)! woohoo! sadly, none of the simulation results are particularly interesting. few (no?) systems have had even one consumer species make it to the end of the simulation, and most don't even keep more than a couple of producer species. i think my best so far is six producer species survived...out of and original complement of sixteen producer species and thirteen consumer species. but that's okay. it's all still data. it would just be really cool if i could actually get a system that works a little better. will make a much cooler presentation before conference audiences...not to mention my oral defense committee.
after i left school, i ran some much needed errands. whew, i have toothpaste without having to dip into my travel sized tube. stopped by Blockbuster and picked up the first eight episodes of the first seasons of both House and NCIS. watched all the NCIS tonight and will likely make it through the House episodes tomorrow. no, i don't watch too much TV. really. honest. ... yeah, i don't believe me either.
don't know why i'm still up now. i'm kinda tired but don't feel like going to bed at the same time. so i'll play a few games online before i crash. Yahoo! Pyramids here i come. and maybe some Dice Slider. i need to restrain myself from playing any more Cubis 2, though. i've played too much recently, and last time i played late at night i dreamed about Cubis. yeah, that was disturbing.
