In other news, I just read an article (linked from Slashdot, so some (all?) of you may already have seen it) about some kids who invented an environmentally friendly car air conditioner! In case you weren't aware, present day car air conditioners require further (to that used for driving...) consumption of fuel to operate, and contain environmentally unfriendly chemicals (freon). This invention is clean and doesn't require fuel to run! This is the news I like to read. I just hope that the invention gets dropped into every car that is produced so that we can contribute at least a little to saving the environment since those pollution spewing monstrosities known as automobiles sure aren't going away anytime soon!
