The Latest Negative Update for Climate Change
Sigh, yet another study is finding that climate change is well on its way already. CNN has this report www.cnn.com/2009/TECH/science/08/07/global.warming/index.html interviewing one of the researchers on this study by the USGS pubs.usgs.gov/fs/2009/3046/ The study is a 50-year record of glacier change, looking at 3 different glaciers, in 3 different climate areas, in Washington and Alaska. The study shows "dramatic shrinkage" of all 3 glaciers at an increasingly rapid pace, and the lead researcher calls this the "canary in the coal mine" for indicating the health of all the world's glaciers.
